Full Broadcast of 2-Year Memorial Ceremony in Vietnam (English commentary)
This ceremony marks the end of the International Plum Village Community’s two-year mourning period, known as Đại Tường in Vietnamese (大祥 in Chinese). And it recognizes Thay as the fifth patriarch of Từ Hiếu Temple - his root temple - and the founder of the Plum Village Sangha.

🙏Most Beloved Thay and global community with gratitude and respect from 🇵🇷Puerto Rico with eternal love💝Sangha Community.🌟
One of the happiest days of our lives for those present. The energy was so powerful and full of love all around. Many divine spirits gathered for this occasion I can assure you, I felt their presence so strongly that it brought me to tears. Such a beautiful way to honor our beloved Teacher where he was ordained 82 years ago. Beautiful reunions with many spiritual friends on this path of the P.V. tradition, both monastic and lay friends. It was the most beautiful three days I was a part of in my very lifetime. the only greater day was the time I sat in front of Thay during a dharma talk in France summer of 2010 and he looked in my eyes multiple times. Teacher's recognition of his student. I had to hold back tears, being in the presence of a living Buddha, eyes full of love and light, as he spoke of the suffering during the war in Vietnam which my country invaded. With our very lives we go the the three jewels as we continue each day, each moment of our lives to climb the hill of the 21 century.
💖Thank you Venerable Thay and Noble Sangha for sharing this beautiful moment. I found the chanting itself very healing. It would be wonderful to have as an audio cd.
Thank you, Thay, for the collective of unique wisdom you shared with us over the years...your teachings changed me in countless ways...I will always be grateful for opening my eyes to the wonders of life that surround us and teaching me loving kindness and its adaptation in everything I do...I will never forget your gracious, gentle nature...🙏
🙏♥️🌷 Dear Thay, deeply grateful.
Thank you for posting so that we who live far away can participate as well.
One love human family 🙏🏼
Thay lives in his beloved community, who are devoted and committed to faithfully transmitting and embodying his teachings. For this I am eternally grateful. Our dear teacher moved and inspired me like no other. How fortunate we are to have shared time on Earth with this remarkable, yet humble, man!

I am thinking how lucky you brothers and sister were to live with Thay for years and under the shade of his tree of knowledge and teachings, you were truly privileged, amazing many of you joined him in your early teens, how blessed you were and mindful for this decision.
Thank you Thay with great gratitude for all you did and still do for all of us ❤

Thank you. Blessings all.
Thank you so much for providing the English commentary. I was lucky to be able to attend this ceremony in person, but I didn't understand or see everything, so it's very nice to be able to return to it with this context. I am wondering: There was also a chanting ceremony the day before, as well as an evening program of remembrances of Thay that was in Vietnamese. Would it be possible to share an explanation of the previous day's ceremony, as well as the remembrance program (maybe even with English subtitles or translation)? That would be so amazing. Thank you in any case.
Bhavpurna Adaranjali to beloved Thay
