Hello and welcome back ladies and gentlemen! Today we have Kevin's bandeja for you. He is coming from Karate and plays padel for a few months now!
The first few bandejas where with topspin, and we have to change that. With topspin the ball will come up a lot against the wall and if your opponent knows how to use the glass, they wil have a problem.
So today we will give you some tools on how to generate more slice in your bandeja to keep the ball lower so you can hold the net position.

@@OtroNivelPadel so far I have been able to take something away from each video, and try to implement this in my exercises and also training. I would be very happy if we could organize a training at our club.
Great video, Sven. Very useful too see our principal dificult to learn or to explain. I feel its beter watch a video about ourselves performances to show what the problem is real.

Thanks Bjorn
Again a nice video, Sven. Thanks! However.. have you ever thought about it to create a 'lefty' channel? As a left-handed player I'm constantly breaking my mind with "translating" your instructions to the left hand. You can easily use your existing videos, only mirrored.. This would make me and probably a lot of other people pretty happy 😁

Dude you are quite the teacher...! You immediately saw all that was wrong with his movement.. first no slice, then being too frontal.. You also saw another important instinctive mistake he makes, which I think is the worst problem he has, and that is that he keep his arm way too low. And by the way the bench thing was both hilarious and effective... Unfortunately Kevin is clearly uncomfortable with a high to low movement, which is totally understandable for someone who has never learned to slice.. it is in fact a very non intuitive movement.. you want the ball to go forward but you actually go down... You corrected hm to start with his arm higher, and elbow at the height of his eyes, which is awesome, but then what Kevin does is start that way, then as the ball approaches he lowers his arm and starts the swing when his hand is at the heigh of his eyes... I think he does that because instinctively he visualises this shot as giving a slap to someone. To correct this he need to to a lot of repetitions very easy repetitions throwing himself the ball to hit, so he can concentrate of getting the high to low movement right and with a coach that will correct him as soon as he falls back in his bad habit (which he will do..).
Too long to watch. It is a filmed private lesson for Kevin. Not a video lesson for web users. Should be more condensed. Don t need to see Kevin hitting 50 shots.

I disagree. It's great as a player to also see how to correct other people's (like friends) technique and identify what the problems are, and also see what similar faults are in your own game
