Alex you have so very many expressions of guitar attacks at your command it's just more of your soul screaming to be heard by the World Thakx man, I learn something new every time I listen to you play, love those hot sax lines OMG! So HOTTTT 😅

So I'm listening in the background because my guitar student walked in and I hear the lick at 8:57 and about fell out of my chair. I kept replaying it and entered into a lecture about feel, phrasing, and peak musical moments. Then, I noticed your reaction Alex and see that it was a peak moment for you too. Thank you for that.

Can't get enough of Alex Hutchings, He is so awesome. Love his facial expressions, man he has feelings...

i'm obviously late to the party but watching this now, i'm really surprised how good alex is at the blues. i'd even go so far as to say he's a better blues played than many of the guys who are exclusively blues players, he really has some brilliant lines here

I agree - a lot of the famous blues players play the same, tired triplet pattern over and over again, or they bend and hold one note, and make a guitar face as if they’re blazing all over the fretboard, and go back to the same boring triplet stuff.

Thing is....Alex's best blues is when he's restrained and not ripping all over the fret board. Alex playing slow and expressive and letting the sax guy breathe is simply the best.....

Hi Alex, great playing as always. Are you playing in the east midlands at all?

I think my problem to not play like Alex, is that I mostly stand still with no contortion on my body whatsoever...got to try that out and see if I play a little better. Or I can just throw my guitar on the garbage for good. Maestro Alex!!!
