I get it's safest to use an attourney, but being a Norwegian, the trust in society is pretty strong and I think most here would not have that much problem relaying events to the police as they experienced them. Police is just trying to do their job, they are service-people, they aren't out to get you for no reason.. ridiculous.

Besides, they are loaded with blanks, which is a primer, powder, a casing, minus the projectile. What could have happened is like what happened to Brandon Lee, where a revolver had a squib load, which is pop and no kick. The round doesn't have enough force behind it to exit the barrel, so it gets stuck. Then when a blank is loaded, it ejects the round like a regular round being shot. That's what killed Brandon.

Alsi its much better to let him speak if he wants to as he may reveal more than when you just ask question.

Ex-cop and soldier here. I have never fired that particular weapon. But I did once own a S&W 44 mag. It had hardly any recoil at all with the ammo I used (target practice). I had several privately owned weapons while in the Army. I once brought my weapons to my parents house while on vacation. My Mom never fired a weapon in her life. That 44 mag was the only one of them that she liked. Only because it hardly had any recoil. So it's certainly possible that colt 45 had very low recoil (depends on the round). But tbh that's probably the last thing on his mind when he's filming. He's probably used to a pre-programmed muscle memory reaction; good actor. I give him the benefit of the doubt.

But like the guy above me said anyway, that's gonna be the last thing on his mind. The screaming and blood and chaos comes at right around the same time as that recoil

A live round shouldn't be anywhere near a movie set... in any movie. They're never used. The odds of there being a live round in a movie prop gun are astronomical. The odds of an actor pointing that gun at someone off camera and firing that live round, which leads to serious injury or death, are also astronomical. As close to impossible as you will ever get.

He pointed a firearm at another person without checking to see if it was loaded, then pulled the trigger... It's standard procedure for each person including the actor or stunt person to check the status of anything besides a non- firing cast resin (rubber gun) because even blanks if loaded accidentally can be very dangerous and even deadly... He did none of this, although he certainly has during the production of other movies that he has acted in? 🤔

@@berryreading4809 I'd agree with you if it weren't for the fact that they had a dedicated professional to do just that. A friend of mine had winter wheels fitted by a mechanic shop. A couple of minutes after driving off, one of the wheels came off. Luckily nothing serious happened and nobody got hurt, but imagine someone had been hit by a runaway wheel. Would it be reasonable to assume that he should have inspected all wheels after professionals just did, or rather: were clearly expected to? A film crew is like any other team where everyone has a job to do that others trust and rely on. Depending on which country you are in, the owner of the car (or in this case the actor with the gun) might carry some of the responsibility since he's driving the car / shooting the gun - but IMHO it seems that it's someone else's f**kup that brought about both situations.

And you should never talk to the police or FBI because you can forget what you said over time and then they will accuse you of lying and twist things to make it look like you are guilty. I believe Baldwin’s personality is a lot of what he is being judged on. However, he was negligent on scene but after watching the Hannah trial thus far and all the interviews with everyone…it’s just not a qualification of an actor to check the gun. He is right that this is what the other people are for. Jensen checks because that’s his deal, but he was honest about could you imagine if the actors had the last say? No. I don’t think this is his fault. Whether you like him or not, but he had been negligent on the set.

where did the live round come from? Prosecutors showed multiple photos to the jury of what they claim were live rounds of ammunition in both the gun holster worn by Baldwin and in the boxes of ammunition found on Gutierrez-Reed's ammo cart. Lewis claimed that Gutierrez-Reed brought the box of ammunition from her home to the set.
