Izzy is the heart and soul of Guns N' Roses. If the reunited GN'R want to make a new album they have to bring back Izzy for the music and lyrics.

Izzy Stradlin is a good songwriter and a good rhythm guitar player who has made a name for himself as a solo artist. This is rock that is as soulful as anything the Rolling Stones have put out . I can dig and enjoy this music. It has heart with a touch of swagger. Izzy needed to put this out.

fuck man take a song like JOB, Izzy repeats the lyrics the entire song, AT LEAST HE'S GOT A JOB, A LITTLE MONEY COMING IN, and you get this picture of this guy who is probably fucked and trying to rebuild his life and probably failing at it, but AT LEAST HE'S GOT A JOB, A LITTLE MONEY COMING IN, Izzy does the same as Dee Dee Ramone does in some of his songs, there is nothing else to be said other than AT LEAST HE'S GOT A JOB, A LITTLE MONEY COMING IN

GnR is just like Pink Floyd when think about. I always wonder what would happen if GnR did covers of Izzy's songs they would finally have new material that didn't suck. But then Axl would have to admit he nothing with out & have to pay him royalties if Izzy would even ok it. Too bad Axl can't really sing anymore, & it would never happen. Ego is the desroyer of all worlds.

There is nothing here that’s better than 117 Degrees. The sequence, tempos and instrumentation are all the same. We get it: IZZY is the shit-canned Ronnie Wood of GNR but some of this is pretty tiresome.

ha! ronnie was lead, izzy was mostly gnr rythm. and he walked away from the bullshit, he was not fired. izzy keeps delivering the vibe we need . so we stick to him.

this is not izzy strongest solo album but he after 117 degrees he did like three or four albums-worth of material that is better or at least just as good as the songs on 117 degrees

Izzy was not shit canned he quit and there is s big difference between him and Ronne wood. Izzy wrote a shkt load of G N Rs music and co wrote many songs with Axl . Ronnie is not much a a writer sadly it seems izzys song writing has dried up but in G N R his writing was killer izzy is more Keith Richard's then Ronnie . Keith is a song writer and mostly a Rythym player and in his G N R days izzy was the shit in terms of song writing but now the effort does not seem to be there . Izzys first 3 solo albums were great but they get repetitive after they.. he was definitely not shiy canned and they wanted him back but he wants too much money. He wants an equal share but slash and Duff don't even get equal share . AXL gets 50 Duff gets 25 and slash gets 25 . The rest of the band gets paid out of Axls 50 percent. So if slash is not getting equal pay izzy can't expect equal pay to AXl. I was actually very surprised that Duff gets the same as Slash .
