Great informative video. I've tried this repair (screen replacement) on my T5010 with a blank screen but had no success. I've got picture through VGA output to an external monitor, but the laptop screen doesn't display a picture. I can use the digitizer, and even adjust brightness just don't have a picture. I'm not sure what to try next, or even what the root cause of the problem is. Do you have any suggestions?

I would take a look at the video cable to make sure there are no tears or signs of damage. Did the lcd work just fine before?

+616 PC Repair I must have read your mind I opened it up right after commenting to check the video cable and didn't find any broken wires or loose connections. I'd like to check connectivity with my multimeter but it the connections are too small. The screen worked fine until I woke the laptop up from sleep one time and it was frozen. I closed the lid and reopened it and the picture disappeared and has never come back

What's the part number for the glass and the lcd? might just need the glass. what's your email so I can contact you. Thanks.
