So as it turns out, there are confirmed rumors revealed by Patrick from Fujirumors.com - The camera will be released with very similar features to the "second option" I mention in my video.

I wouldn't be able to pay the same price for this camera as a Canon R8 with better autofocus and high ISO with a full-frame sensor.

Fortunately, you are not one of Fujifilm Company deciders. I don't want 2 SD card slots (*), I don't want any bigger battery (**) but I do want the smaller body as possible. Anyway, thank you for your video and for sharing your thoughts. (*) I've no use (**) I've better to use the 3 batteries I already have for my X-T30 and not to have to spend money for new ones .

Thanks for sharing😅 don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I want any of the specific options mentioned for ‚option 1‘ I’d rather have a simple ,entry level‘ camera, but it doesn’t seems like we’re getting that

Fuji is really good at simplifying and making their highest end cameras functions easily as a entree level camera. However they could improve on there entree level and bring things a bit more cohesive. The xt50 is only going to have the old battery. which really cuts the interest of any xt5 user for getting one as a backup. The price difference of carrying a second type of battery alone kills this idea. I think Fuji missed a great opportunity to relieve some of the x100VI demand by not adding the new Battery, and a D pad. That would have really given this a usefulness justifying the cost.

I completely agree, especially about the D-Pad, but I think that is a tale long gone 😕

At this price point you are better off saving up a bit more and just get the XT-5 or XT-4. At least better battery, dual card slot, and weather sealing. Oh the retro style too.

Honestly very good idea, almost double the price is insane

I've always thought the xt30 viewfinder magnification was 0.62... You probably multiply per the crop factor?

I was SO ready to pre-order the X-T50, but with these insane prices this is sadly not happening. Body: 1499€ and Kit 1899€. I really don’t need 40mp so I went with the X-T30 II instead - which is turning out to be a bargain compared to X-T50 prices.

I think its could really be very influent or popular an update version of the Fuji XT200: a "Fuji XT300" (With 10-bit video and IBIS, Eterna, F-log 1 / 4k up 30p and FHD 120p/150p), like the Canon Eos R50 (10-bit 422 HDR PQ) . But under $700 US for beginners

might be a good idea, but I think Fujifilm has stated, that they discontinued the project.

These rumors really do not make sense if you consider the XT5 price and specs. There has to be something that differentiates it in the market. They struggle to keep up with orders so why have two cameras the same specs.

They have already confirmed the option 2 that I mentioned in my video. So the new sensor, processor and ibis :-)

The X-T50 is not really that much smaller or lighter than the X-T5.

Well in dimension it might not be so much but holding both cameras it’s a big difference

Yes! That’s my bad, I should’ve differentiated more. The xs-20 is in my opinion a more advanced ‚entry level‘ model.

Just don't get it. You either get an XS-20 or an X-T5. After they reduced the size of the X-T5, and it has the better LCD, EVF, battery and with 2 SD Card slots - the X-T50 makes zero sense.

Nono, they will release the xt50 with the improved sensor, ibis and the new processor, most other things will likely stay just like on the xt30 II. But it’s still pricey…
