I've finally decided that the Fujifilm XT4 is the best hybrid camera between video and photos for me. It's so easy to switch between the two and of every Fujifilm camera I've tried so far, this is my absolute favourite.

Sony make great cameras but I personally think the images don’t have that same analogue feel as Fuji. Sony’s are quite cold and digital looking. The autofocus is excellent too as it often is on Sony’s stuff. Have a look at the available lenses you could afford for both systems. That might sway you. It’s ultimately a case of do you want a camera that changes lenses and how do you like your images to look?
With just a gun to my head, I could be forced to trade my Sony A7IV for a Fujifilm XT4.

The Sony system is great too but they’re two different types of camera. Sony is more for technology nuts and Fuji is more artsy.
