Thank you! Tracking sensitivity 0, AF Speed 0. These are the settings I always use with the Tampon 17-70mm.

Hello My Fuji XH2 top screen does not after off when i turn off the camera. Is this the normal behavior? Even after turning off the camera, the top screen shows how much shots left and battery percentage. Does this consume battery even when the camera is turned off?

That's normal and very useful. You can change the display to show a variety of other info (other than the default) when it's off if you prefer. For example, I show my exposure comp and battery life. It takes some battery power but very minimal. Edit: I was wrong. You CAN NOT change what is displayed on the top LCD when the power is off. You can, however, have different options for what is displayed when the camera is ON.

@@chicagotelugumovie1299 My apologies, I was looking at my X-H1 and I think I got confused. That may be the default on the X-H1. I tried to look for a way to change things on the X-H2S but could not find it. Maybe neither camera can change the power-off display options.

did you update the lens to the latest version?

Autofocus works extremely well its set to one eye porioty. The auto mode not that effectivie , you should change it. we should expect upcoming models next year as welll[Hint]

Sometimes Fuji takes nose holes as an eye ;) this is no so smart AI ;)

True, this can be improved in future firmware updates.

@5:11 when you were going down the stairs you said it never lost you .but it actually did . 3 times there were no box on your eye but because you put the box in the middle of (area mode ) and you were in the middle. The focus stayed on you. Sony will never do this .even though I prefer fuji in every single aspects over the sony

@McSnapples you are right sony lose focus but people says it's the best because it lose you 3 times only when the fuji lose you 10 times .but when a face up close. It doesn't lose you if you turn around .the fujifilm xt4 "and older models". If you turn around, it doesn't recognise you at all anymore. The xt5 will recognise you 10 to 50 % of the times.

It boggles my mind that all people talk about is AUTOFOCUS like it’s the only thing that matters in a modern camera. The truth is, to me at least, if people can’t get usable professional images or footages from the XH2S (with or without FW 3.00), these people should question their own skills rather than blame the equipment. It’s laughable that I keep hearing the same comments that Sony’s AF is so good that even a novice can get it to focus automatically, so they are now free to concentrate on “composition”. Yet, the irony is, I never see any life altering, transcendental images or compositions from these people, now that the camera does everything for them!

When I said it never lost me I meant that I was always in focus not the face box or eye box. Fujifilm autofocus system is different than other brands so you need to adapt to what you have, the important part is that I was in focus all the time, not how. I saw Sony cameras hunt in low light, it is normal. Lets take the positive part from this firmware update, Fujifilm are working on their autofocus and it is getting better and that is a win for all of us Fuji users.

@McSnapples Sony has settings, just like Fuji, which alters the sensitivity of how jumpy/sticky the AF track or switches. Most don't even touch these settings and use full default. TBF, it mostly works fine on default, but with lots of people in the scene it needs some manual adjustment. Can't read your mind yet. Also Sony has face memory registration & real-time face tracking options which I hope Fuji add in the future. Make events with lots of people easy to keep focus, but once again most might not realize it exist. I've seen wedding "pros" not even realize this and complain AF is hard because there are too many people around the bride/groom etc. Even if these features didn't exist, there are techniques to eye AF better in events too. Such as stop relying on full wide eye-AF and use zone to isolate the subject. Dual BBAF helps too, one for eye AF and one for fallback AF. etc. Sony AF on default typically work so well people forget/realize extra setting/options exist and/or don't develop fundamental AF technique.
