Not if you "need" IBIS and usable autofocus with face detect. Depends on what you shoot.

Love my x10, but my ovf broke.... pre-ordered the VI haha.

Very concise version of the story. Not for me but even at $1600, for a fixed lens camera, it's already a certified hit. Glad if it helps Fujifilm stay healthy enough to keep exploring as the marketplace evolves.

Wanted a V, but they were never in stock so I got a GR3X instead and have been really enjoying it.

I can't afford one, but I'd gladly watch a full review by Becca!

Associating this camera with TikTok has me reconsidering my preorder 😢

I'm just glad the V version's price will drop. It's available here in Europe new or second hand.

Loved the design when it came out 10 years ago. Nice to see young ppl flocking to cameras instead of cell phones. Something special about just using one lens only.

Fujifilm is clearly not abandoning the camera market, but also, not making it its priority (chill people, we're busy making more money doing other stuff).

None of the people who bought the camera because of tik tok care about any of these upgrades.

I don’t have TikTok and love the camera. Those that see it on TikTok or whatever don’t even know how to use it LOL

The internet will flock to it as an 'IT' purchase, but probably most people will not know how to use the improved features. And Fuji certainly will hype and ride that wave for all they can get out of it.

The xs10 still exists for like a fraction of that things price

my original X100 still working fine but maybe this time to upgrade.

Grip is too small, lens hasn’t been improved, and the menu is horrible.

Ibis and 10 bit really balance this out for a perfect lifestyle capturing little edc camera imo. The main reason I sold my V was due to the lack of good enough video abilities including any kind of stabilization at all. Same good looks too

i don’t get it… bought x100 13 years ago… then xt20 and xt4 and fast fuji prime lenses… sold them all and got sony a7cii… no regret

The new camera is made in China, not Japan.

Wait whats the point of having IBIS at low shutter. That defeats the purpose of low shutter speed unless you are trying to get more low light performance out of it

Yes I think that's what she meant. IBIS helps at low shutter speed so better low light performance without cranking up the ISO hence less noise.

40MP is just not practical for a daily cary small camera!

Not true. like so many TikTokers, which are not being photographers. The physical resolution doubles, into quadrat. Hence a simple milkmaid math: 6 MP is 3000x2000 pixels resolution, and 24 MP (x4) is 6000x4000 pixel, so physically, 40 MP is *never* being (almost) *twice* the resolution of 26 MP. That's the internet... go figure. 🙂

I pre order a couple minutes after it was announced from B&H and it's unknown when it will be delivered.

It does not have a better battery life due to IBIS

I ordered mine at 1:30 am when B&H posted it. ♥️

@@svcross-do ehh not too long. Couple hours if even that. It’s hard to yeah because there’s zero indicators of any sort of gauge. But I haven’t charged it since I got it and it still turns on and takes pictures. The photos aren’t very big. Just standard jpegs so there isn’t much you can do with editing them. The camera is incredibly slow to take a pictures. The flash is laughably bad. You have zero control over anything which is fine in one aspect because that’s kind of the point but at the same time you’d want it to look good straight out of camera then and it just isn’t. They look like iPhone 5 photos lol

Let's LARP as film photographers without having to actually shoot film 🤣🤣🤣
