Lets go discover Fuerteventura, an island located in the Atlantic Ocean just in front of Morocco.
It is an ideal destination for kites with a mild climate throughout the year and perfect conditions for wave, freeride, freestyle or foil. For beginners you have the choice because it has plenty of kite schools! And for days without wind or those who do not want to kite, you can go for a walk through the volcanoes or visit picturesque villages,go surf or paddle, horseback riding, mountain biking, tax-free shopping, or simply lazing on the beach protected from the wind by the famous Corralitos (small stone wall)
WInd is perfect from April to late August! From September to March is the month for waves but you can also have a whole week without wind, the best is to go at the last moment by checking the wind forecast!
The island can be divided into two parts: the region of Corralejo in the North where are most of the wave spots (El Cotillo, Majanicho, glass beach, Puerto Lajas ...) and the south more arid and flatter, especially the lagoon of Sotavento where the wind accelerates thanks to a venturi effect.

Nous partons à la découverte de Fuerteventura, une des 7 îles de Canaries, située dans l'Océan Atlantique juste en face du Maroc.
C'est le top si vous voulez partir pas loin, pas cher! C'est une destination idéale pour le kite avec un climat doux tout au long de l'année et des conditions parfaites pour la vague, le freeride, le freestyle ou encore le foil. Pour les débutants vous aurez le choix car il y a plein d'écoles! Et pour les jours sans vent ou ceux qui ne kitent pas, il y a pas mal d'occupations, balade dans les volcans ou villages pittoresque, surf ou paddle, cheval, VTT, shopping détaxé , ou encore tout simplement farniente sur la plage protégés du vent par les fameux Corralitos (petit muret de pierre circulaire)
Stats de vent parfaites d'avril à fin aout ! De septembre à mars c'est les meilleurs mois pour les vagues mais vous pouvez tomber sur une semaine entière de pétole, le mieux c'est de partir au dernier moment en checkant les prévisions!
L'île peut se séparer en deux parties: la région de Corralejo au Nord où se trouve la plupart des spots de vagues (El Cotillo, Majanicho, Glass Beach, Puerto Lajas...) et le sud plus aride et plus flat, spécialement le lagon de Sotavento où le vent s'accélère grâce à une effet venturi.
