Fuerteventura is the second-largest of the Canary Islands in Spain. Fuerteventura is also a popular travel destination, best known for its beaches. Corralejo and Morro Jable are the most visited resorts on Fuerteventura. Over 2 million tourists visit Fuerteventura each year, especially beach and water sports lovers. The capital of Fuerteventura is Puerto del Rosario. Other notable attractions are Lobos island, Betancuria, Caleta de Fuste and Faro de la Entallada.

Great video we have been holiday in Jamaica over to last few years now from the UK but it would be good to visit some were closer to home and for a change we have been to Tunisia a few times and turkey but the beechs look great at fuerteventura so it's a place to keep in mind to go in the future
We have been to Fuerteventura three times once to Caleta de Fuste and twice to Corralejo. Caleta is a layed back resort while Corralejo is a lively place with lots of large hotels, bars and cafes. Outside these two resorts the other are small and not a lots of interest. The only problem we found in Fuerteventura is the wind, so be prepared for a cool breeze everywhere.

Brits are everywhere :) but you can try La Lajita in the south for a more local experience

The bus connection between main towns is good. But if you want to explore the whole island including some more remote places, a car is the far better option.

@@raulb4169get a car ... Use Reizen cars, right there in the airport terminal. You need a car for the freedom. Don't speed, don't cross white lines, drive carefully on the rough roads that lead to the great places. Go South, the area of Jandia, Morro Jable is a great base.

Sorry, having been it is a dry windy rock with no trees, homophobic thugs and there is NOTHING to do if do not windsurf , just go somewhere pretty and safe .
