I can definitely recommend Forte Diesel treatment which my independent vw mechanic puts in the tank every year. Always runs sweet as a nut. Also use their Ad blue additive to stop crystallising every ad blue fill up. Spending £40/50 a year on additives is way cheaper than fixing blocked injectors, dpf issues etc

Awesome, thanks for the recommendation I will get some to try out 😊 I totally agree, it should be cheaper in the long run to use the additives every now and then. Cleans the injectors and fuel pump etc 👍🏼

Pleasure mate, thank you for tuning in 😊 haven’t tried Dipetane before, how do you find it?
The best mpg reading ive had on my Gtd is 71 mpg. No way I was actually getting that. Its brim to brim calculations that count. You should do a brim to brim video. 👍

did you use the old diesel you took out and place it in the jerry can to lubricate the oil filter?

I tend to keep a jerry can of fresh diesel for filling the new filter
Hi mate. Ive got the 1.6 tdi. I get around 75mpg. Near enough 800 miles to a tank. Interesting to see its not far off yours. Mine has been remaped but thats it

Hi mate, have you ever experienced an annoying creak/buzzing noise from the pillars of your golf? I have on mine, apparently it's a common issue. Cheers!

If it happens when going of a ramp, speed bump etc. (Especially if you’re making a turn) it’s the rubbers!

I bet your NOT getting 86 mpg now, I've used similar products in my 222000 mile Skoda, once this product has gone thru your system and you've done about 1k , the fuel consumption will revert to normal, am I right, or am I write ?
