for permanent enable in firewall use command :- (firewall-cmd --permanent --add-service=ftp)

bahut hi badiya padate ho aap. kisi di milenge jarur 8 month se follow kar raha hu aapke channel ko bahut learn kiya hu apke channel through. bajirao rd pune me main job karta hu clint location pe. i think aap bhi pune se hai aisa lagta hai muje. kabhi milenge jarur. and aise hi teach kariye nd aage badiye acha lagta hai koyi marathi ladka aage jata hai to. god bless you bro 🙂

you explain everything, but this is not good to stop firewall. You should entry in firewall for FTP so that it run without firewall off.

One more question... Can't we change our directory while using ftp services.. for example if I have login into ftp.. then i realised that the file which I have to upload is in different locations.. so do I need to do BYE and then go into desired location then again i have to login into ftp or I can change my current directory while using ftp... Pls reply

20tb is really big, I haven't tried ever this amount but I would suggest to use tar and rsync compress the files as much as possible using tar then transfer using rsync

If possible you can use WinSCP tool for this You can use both FTP and SSH

after login into ftp, execute 'pass' command for passive mode and then try to transfer file.. let me know if that's works

@@ashishkarad8960 If we want to connect two servers at different location using FTP.. then those two should have sftpd service installed, and the client server (from which you want to access those two servers) should have ftp command. For the FTP we only need IP of remote server (which is paul ka IP) and Client server (kali) ke ip ki jarurt ni thi hehe btw kali ka ip tha last me ...29.115
