Thanks for the kind comments :) Glad you enjoyed the vid, the window was added during editing; a bit too long winded to explain how it's done here but it's acheived using alpha channel masking and compositing. There's a few tutorials on compositing in vegas on youtube which I'd recommend. Thanks again for watching and commenting! :)

The announcements are genuine recordings made by me during the actual flight, they are added in during editing.

Yeh that's certainly not a destination I've flown to before but always good to do something different! I can see that EK use the 773 for that route - it will be nice to spend a bit of time flying the 777 again - mission accepted! :)

It's available to buy at many shops and websites, easiest thing is just to google it.

To be honest, almost all modern PCs can handle FSX fairly well, but if you want to really take it to the max and add weather and ground textures, high end aircraft etc, the most important thing is processor clock speed. I'm not quite sure what you mean by that - if you're using Vegas, you crop a sound object in exactly the same way as you would for a video clip. I can't speak for other editing programs as I only use Vegas, but it's likely to be a similar method. I suggest you take a look at some tutorials for the editing software you are using for more info.

I think you may well have difficulty running FSX smoothly on an 8 year old machine. You could try FS2004, it may manage with that ok.

it's not a plug in. You have to create the window as a separate layer, too complicated to explain here but have a look at tutorials on compositing in vegas.

Look for PC well 7770 to 7970 CPU or gtx 690 680 CPU Intel i7 i5 amd bulldozer 3.0 or 3.4 there u go guys

I.e. Other than those u mentioned above. On a separate note, I just got off a flight into MXP and the pilot overshot the aiming point by a gd 40-50ft. I think u did better than him!
