I have read through all the comments. All questions were good questions. What I want to say is any question is valid depending on the player level and experience. What makes it great is that you answer all questions to the best of your knowledge and a lot of patience. I did find other videos by others who dont reply to any questions. This was so cool to see! I just started using CP last night. I'm sure I'll be comfortable enough with it this weekend to add the AutoDrive features too. I really like the combination of these. Just have to get the management of both down first.

This is great! I've been messing with forage wagons recently and this is exactly what I was trying to do. You can also copy the combine's pathing to pick up straw if you have swathing enabled on your combine.

You could do this with CP by itself in FS19. Without the need of AD. In fact it was much easier doing this "empty and return to field" function with CP alone.

Yes this was a CP feature in FS19. and if I recall correctly, Using CP in 19 to pick up and deliver was that everything was a course by itself with no ability to link like AD.

I was going to make exactly the same comment, but then saw you had got there first....nice one.

You could do all of this in fs19 and 17 in just courseplay. My understanding is you technically still can in 2022, but this way is much nicer and easier to setup.

I didn't use Courseplay to that extent in FS19, but I believe you could do a lot with it. Combined with Autodrive I think is definitely easier. Thanks for your comment.

Hey FarmSim! Thanks for the great video. I do have one question: when I set up the 2 tracks: Courseplay for the fieldwork and AD to go from the waypoint into your field to the silo, I don't get the Courseplay logo/button next to the speed where you have it. Has this something to do with my installation of CP? Everything within CP works fine... Thanks for any feedback and keep up the good work! Chris.

Hi Chris. Thanks for your comment and glad you liked the video. Sorry for slow reply, have been manic at work. Firstly - make sure you have the latest versions of both AutoDrive and Courseplay installed. Go to GitHub to get them as there are some out of date versions on other Mod sites - links below! In the AutoDrive menu, for the CP button, when you click on the 'Triangle' bottom right, it toggles between different modes and brings up the 'record' buttons. When this happens, the CP button gets hidden. If you click on that triangle again, the record buttons go and the CP button will reappear. If not sure what I mean, look at the video at 2min 20 sec kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y2t21NCnZM2pnLg.html You will see how it toggles between different modes. yes you could do the same in fs19 courseplay

Thanks Daryl. I didn't try to use it for Forage wagon in FS19, but I guess if you used the same course as a windrower, it would work.

What if you have several courseplat routes on one field, how does AD recognize the right course i want to drive, for instance pcking up straw after a combine and deliver to a bga?

That is a good question and to be honest I did not test that, but I think you would load in the correct CP course to the tractor first, before then going to AD and linking the two. 👍

I will experiment, but what would happen if I created my own field, around existing fields? I own fields 30-34 and I want to mow the grass around the outside of my crop.

Have you tested and retested this? From my experience, I would expect the trailer to get Jackknifed all the time.

You could use an omnidirectional road when going to and from the field

Hi there, I only set-up those two loops, for the purpose of the video and demonstrating the task. The one going around the farm was mainly put in to make it easier to get back around to the cow farm again.

Hi, trying to replicate your job on field 10. When you start autodrive from the bunker you click on the courseplay icon to link it. I have no such icon. I've tried everything I can think of.

Hi John. Did you un-click the little warning triangle bottom right in Autodrive when you were starting from the bunker? That gets rid of the extra record button icons, i.e. record, create waypoint etc. The Courseplay icon should then reappear. If you look at the video at 2min 48 sec - you will see the Courseplay icon, but when I click that triangle to bring up the record bits, it is replaced with other icons. See: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y2t21NCnZM2pnLg.html . I suspect you have not un-clicked that triangle. When you do the Courseplay icon comes back. Let me know how you get on. Hope this helps. 👍

@@FarmSimGamer No it wasn't that buddy. Must've picked up an incompatible version somewhere. Went to github and downloaded both courseplay and autodrive directly from their website. Now all ok. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

So I am trying to set up something similar. However I don’t have the cp button on auto drive. Did they take it away? I use cp and auto drive. Both are updated to the current versions. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Ryan. In the Autodrive menu, bottom right there is a 'Warning Triangle' symbol. If you click on that, you will see it brings up different options in the AD menu, one of which is the Courseplay link button. If you watch the video around 2min 20 - 30sec, you will see me click on/off that triangle and the CP button appear. Hope this helps. 👍

Hey, I'm play with Autodrive and courseplay i do like you, but if I start autodrive at the farm it stop at the field, but if i start CP at the field, it does the work and it drive the route, it continues where the CP stopped.

When you start Autodrive at the farm, have you previously set-up the courseplay course on the tractor for the field you are going to? Once that is done and you then go to autodrive, clicking the Courseplay icon should then link the two together. If you start at the farm, you still need to apply the courseplay element first before activating autodrive. It worked okay for me, doing that process.

Have you checked that all the nodes in Autodrive are connected correctly. If they are not, or one has been deleted by accident, it can cause a problem.

how to you change the fill level to 95% ??

It's soo much easier to reverse without the trailer attached, just create waypoint on last node on

@@malcolmdegabriele5361 I have not played on that map, so cannot advise easily. Are you in New Farmer mode? If so, was that block of land part of a bigger 'communal' block of land on the map, i.e. some map makers include all of the 'non-farm' areas with the main farm so you own 'public land' so to speak. If so, you might not be able to sell it because of that.

this mod is not in modhub.....so how can we use this then???

Hi there - AutoDrive is not in ModHub at the moment. You need to get it from GitHub: github.com/Stephan-S/FS22_AutoDrive. They are still testing so I don't think they have formally released it yet. It is all okay to use and GitHub is safe to download from. It is PC only and so you need to download the ZIP file and then copy that into your MODS folder. Hope this helps.

Hi there. In the little AD menu, if you click on the 'triangle' icon bottom right, additional icons appear in the menu, one of which is the Courseplay icon. If you watch the video between 2min 18 sec and 2min 26sec you will see how clicking on that triangle, brings up the CP icon. Hope this helps. 👍

@@Harrywestall Have you got the latest version of AutoDrive? Did you download it from GitHub? Latest version is 2.0.0.6 - github.com/Stephan-S/FS22_AutoDrive Try that to see if it helps. If not, without seeing what you're seeing, it is hard to know what the issue might be!
