Haven't seen the folding of the Spectra over and poking the needle through before quite interesting! Looks good!

Smooth connection between braid and mono. It’s 100% breaking strength and allows you to connect the braided line on your reel to your long monofilament leader. This connection is very sleek so it can be reeled right through the guides and into the reel. If you used a swivel instead, you’d have to stop with 100’ or more of mono out and wire fish to the boat by hand. The mono allows for stretch which absorbs shock from fish striking lures or baits at high speed or when they jump. This helps prevent break offs and pulled hooks.

A serving tool would have been better....for the finishing of the wax thread...
