Genius idea...Let's have the person who has the least items at the sale & doesn't know anything about what is being sold (up to & including what the item is/does, if it works, if it's new or old or even how much their asking for it) run the sale! YES...They definitely had a eureka moment with that insanely great idea!! I wonder if it was a group effort to choose him as yard sale leader 🤔

Nice scores. I hate garage sales when no one knows prices or bunch of people and no tags. Should have already had that set .

Yeah well people would just offer a price then it makes it easier for the owners of the garage sale to frequently change prices
Just to pass this along -- the Staffordshire dogs you found are vintage from probably the 1960s to 80s -- Original antique Staffordshire's are not marked and have far smaller holes on the bottom (the dogs you have come from a slip mold). That said, there is still value, but not in comparison to the dogs made in the late 1800s -- you're probably looking at $100 to $150 for a pair of the large dogs that you have. Also, it's best to sell them as pairs

Watched this a bit later but was going to make the same comment concerning the age, mold and holes on the Staffordshire dogs. I think $100 may be top of the mark really but with a popular store, youtube, etc...Matt may do better than others on these.

At first, I was afraid he was passing them up. I love these and they always sell for me.
If you're going have a yard sale, know how much you're charging. Nothing like waiting for the seller to decide how much they want for stuff. It's like they re sizing you up.
A super hero pose is due for the next walk in front of mirror shot. Lol. 💪😬
Love your channel, you are so nice. And love how you show us what you paid and what it’s worth. Your my Favorite channel to watch
The card sellers…man, big pet peeve when the person(s) working the sale have no clue what the prices are. Get your stuff straight before you open.
Those dogs are from Stoke on Trent Staffordshire anyone from the uk must recognise them as every grandparent had a set in front of the fire place . Brings back memories

They are super trendy right now in the UK.
Those two guys with the Pokémon cards own a trading card shop in Milpitas. I’m pretty sure those cards were lower end.
Of all the pickers you are my absolute favorite to watch for sure. I look forward to all your videos

Those Staffordshire dogs are a whole thing in the UK. They are a status symbol. And people brag when they get one. In general Staffordshire is a really good friend. They're very old company in England.
You continue to shop with such a positive vibe. Pops must be a good luck charm. Continued success☮️❣️

😊 thank you
Every posh household in Britain had these Staffordshire dog ornaments. You had t be very well off in the sixties to have these.
I think that brass swan is a ring holder. You put it by your sink when doing dishes etc…. Stick your ring 💍 over the swan . My mom had one and my daughter inherited it .
No, you should NOT have bought the card for $100?!?!?!?!! Lord have mercy!! we need to go over the definition of "yard sale" , i think some people may be confused 🤣🤣
The doggies are always nice visually. Many of us do not need the real antique, we want the look. Enough research will get you to price them correctly and a nice profit. Just look at the property and would they have $400.00 Stafford shire ceramic doggies in their home!!! You have such patience with the sellers. That is why you are successful. I have learned so much from you.
Christmas Stocking, Staffordshire Dogs, Ekco Flatware, Mdina Vase, Norcrest Spoons, Forks and Knives, Oneida Dinner Forks Nintendo OEM Controller, Zapper NES Duck Hunt Gun, PS1 Console Manuel and Instructions, Thanks Matt Nice Merchandise. Out
From car parts at the swap meet to art glass at an estate sale.......I love it!!!
Slim pickings. Yeah, new Pokémon stuff hard pass. Glass and ceramics saved the day - I never look at that stuff because before you know it you’ll have a roomful wondering what the heck happened. Nice pick bro.
Great pickup on the Staffordshire dogs!!
Matt your dad is adorable God bless 🌺🌺
You passed on that charm bracelet--a lot of times those charms are sterling and they sell well individually. Great video!

Agreed he misse so much stuff I wish I had a third of the good sales that they do where he's at.
Oh that moment when you relize that your world has been fuzzy for a while and didn't realize until someone hands you a pair of readers.
Man that Camaro was smokin hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dude definitely upd the price on the pokemon stuff so he could get a cut u could tell by how hesitant he was giving out a price
"It's got really neat intricate glass stuff" haha, that's probably about how I would've described it too. Sometimes I don't know the proper terms, I just know it seems like it should be worth something to someone.
Very interesting that you listed the Staffordshire dogs separately. I have always seen them in pairs. We have a pair of antique larger dogs on our mantle. I have always loved those things! Great buys.
Matt Was That Michael McDonald 🤣🤣🤣
The Staffordshire dogs were the very first thing I learned to identify and the first things I found when I started learning about estate sales. Good eye on those, Matt!
I am always looking at spoons at the the thrift store. I prefer the made in Japan ones. They have a nice weight and hold up well. Why am I always looking? My spoons seem to disappear over time .. where ??? I have no clue. Lol

I love sales with carpet and walpaper… usually chock full of vtg. 👍☘️
Hi Matt & Dad, honestly I haven't read through all the comments. I think the long neck bird, looks as if might be a ring holder? Juss guessing.
Great pick ups at that first sale! That is the stuff I LOVE to deal with. Great prices!
The dogs and the glass item were great buys.
Happy Thursday 👋🏼🥰🥳 Always Love Seeing The Pick Ups!!
Should grabbed the Pyrex at last sale on table in garage
3:00 Goebel Friar Tuck Monks Figures can be very good depending on price. Good score on the spaniels
Awesome estate sale! Thanks for sharing!!
those dogs are coo.. great stuff, I'm jonzing for a good estate sale ..
Nice find on the dog figures. I thought that bird piece was nice. Miss the days when you found ducks everywhere. Love your vlogs and so cool to do this with your dad

I have a vintage duck collection myself. Gave one to my new dentist who duck hunts. He loved it… vintage figurerines of animals are very popular now. From the 60’s and making a comeback. Brass is back in on the east coast. That young girl was so nice and helpful. She did not want you to miss anything.
I need to do more estate sales, I find some good stuff at them.
Your Dad is so lovely. 🌻🌻

Great meeting you today at the Estate Sale in Mod.
Staffordshire dogs have a lot of repros.
Awesome Matt 👍
Really cool intricate glass stuff. Had me laughing.
You are one of a kind🥇
Staffordshire but the antique ones sell for big money but the repro ones like yours in the UK don’t sell for a lot
Those Staffordshire dogs are commonly known as 'Wally Dogs' - Makes for a more accurate search term.
M'dina or Medina Glass is handblown here is Malta and together with the Stafforshire dogs were a steal !! I would have picked those, too. Love from the Mediterranean Sea :) .
Hey Matt always enjoy seeing your videos great pickups 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Good pass on the cards. They were all ultra modern bulk, essentially worthless right now as people aren’t buying bulk (because there’s an abundance of it due to popularity).
Awesome video brother.
Awesome video as always ❤❤
Some awesome glass stuff 😉😂 usual love and respect from Scotland 😄

Lol why have someone watch the yardsale if he doesnt know any prices or anything about the items.
Damn, now you’re gonna have me looking up glass stuff which I hate but it’s been slim pickins so worth a try lol.
Great show and loved the dogs. You picked up a silver charm bracelet. Ya need check out. If silver could be worth up to 1,200.00 and even if fake if vintage could be worth like $200.00. Always look closely. Same with costume rhinestone vintage brooches as can be hundreds. Women collect them.
Great scores
Awesome!! 😁
Nice clip! I only go to estate sales when it is 50% off
Good finds, I'll be looking for those dogs 👀

@@PartTimePickers To be honest I don’t know if they were vintage but he offered to let go 2 big binders full of Pokémon cards for $50. That’s why I regretted it because it was a good deal that I shouldn’t of passed up vintage or not.
hopefully no chips on the dogs.
Thank you
I use my phone camera as eye glasses ... lol 😆 🤣
Some mirrors from the sixties can be good and look after lamps for tables they can be worth picking up.
Hi there I like your videos and thank you for sharing. Just Curious How do you record? Do you have a chest mount? and What kind of camera do you use?
Difficult to say on the cards but I think the bulk alone should be at least close to $100 so I'd probably take that gamble. Most cards aren't worth anything but you never know if there's one card people want.
If there was full arts and mega cards I would have possibly payed 10 a binder but I couldn’t see the cards so unsure.
No you should not have bought those cards, you would have been out so much money if you bought those for $100. They're all newer sets and even the "full art" ones were cheap. I'm talking $2 a piece. I didn't see anything older than the last three years.
Good passing on the Pokémon cards, it looked like their bulk cards. My friends and I accumulate a lot of bulk buying packs and boxes and it just sits. Sometimes we give it to kids, and people sometimes sell off their bulk for 1-2 cents a card.

@@mjj8560 i picked up 3 boxes and several 3 pack blisters, pulled some good stuff, 3 gardevoirs, but still chasing the miriam and the alt mirium xD, surprising how quickly the prices tanked though
I don't know anything about them but still didn't think you should of bought the cards. Bad deal maybe.
Nice Mdina! I have 2 pieces, myself.
EXCELLENT ❤❤❤
I think yes, there had to be some good o es in the box🥰
Matt: you and Kayla should research Gay Bob!!!!!! I found one that was mint in box after Daddy passed: I bout messed myself
I think you did the right thing not buying those cards.
Good job.
Fun day 👍
