Great video. I have cases of bottled water, but I never thought of getting those 5 gallon bottles!

If you can afford it you can get a dispenser for those 5 gal bottles. Makes it much easier to use.

Good suggestion! Unfortunately, I can't lift a 5 gallon container of water, so I get gallon sized jugs of water from the grocery store :-) I usually get distilled water so I can use it for fermenting foods, making sourdough starter, etc., because it doesn't contain chlorine.

Don't forget to get a pump for the large storage jugs!

They charge $60 for a large water jug like that at our store. A deposit they claim. Hardly affordable.

What concerns me is the plastic bottles as they will expire. They expire to prevent leeching of the BPAs and their cousins. If a plastic container stares - No BPA or BPA free they contain other VPA like compounds. Just saying

i know its way more than a gallon per person per day.. and especially if its hot & you are outside sweating working walking or standing in a line.. way more. its wrong to tell people to not store enough water.
