Frozen - Let It Go (Hungarian) subs&trans FIN&ENG
Фильм және анимация
Hungarian "Let It Go" from "Frozen" with subtitles and translation in both Finnish and English.
The singer is Füredi Nikolett.
~~
Weird stuff I'm uploading, huh?
This is how I've been studying lately, translating and analyzing Hungarian Disney songs. It's a good way for me to learn.
I also highlighted old Finno-Ugric words from the lyrics and I found quite many of them. There are also some other words that are related but they have gotten a little different semantic meanings in Finnish. For example "néz" (look) is related to "nähdä" (see) but they mean a little different things nowadays. Also "tud" (know) is related to "tuntea" (know someone, feel something).
I noticed I didn't find a subs&trans video of the Hungarian one so I made one myself. I found the English translation online but I made some translations myself, too. The Finnish translation is done completely by me. It was nice to notice how much I understood after just 3 months of studying the language.
I also tried a new editing technique. I did the border myself, what do you think of it?
~~
Pitch is changed and video mirrored due to copyrights.
I own nothing.

Very good translation!! It's amazing you did the translation better than some Hungarians out there. You did the literal ) or I don't know how to call it, but word by word ) translation, which it's really good!! It's easier to understand your translation as a foreigner. Thank you very much for doing this... since you are not Hungarian.. it's amazing!!! About editing, I don't know what to say... perfect as always. In rest good luck with your studies, it's nice to hear that some people are interested in this language :)
I've never seen Hungarian and Finnish side-by-side before. I'm aware that they have the same roots, so this is pretty cool. Thanks.
Outstanding piece of work, Well done. It has been amazing since this whole phenomenon started to be able to compare look and sing-along to almost every language on the planet. No mater what the critics may say something that we all can relate to is a good thing.
I thought it was Finland but Hungary have a nice languace....👌🏻👌🏻👏👏
So now I'm completely ready to memorize all the lyrics :) Beautiful meanings. Thanks for the video
My friend has Slovak parents (from the part of Slovakia where people speak Hungarian) and they always speak with her on phone in Hungarian. :D

Mi can mean what also in Finnish, just it's only poetical. I think they later added the -kä in Mikä, because in some other words you can notice it's a later addition. - Min-kä, Mit-kä, pit-kä (pit(e)-, pidempi, pisin uusi, uut(e)-, uudempi, uusin), ...
Very nice job! I'm hungarian, so I can tell you, you made a very good translation to english (Finnish I don't speak, but I guess also the finnish translation is perfect) Compliments for your hungairan knowledge!!! Wow, that was a really great idea to make and I love the edititng too. (Yes, I love the border ;) ) And well, hats off, that you could traslate Hungarian to English and Finnish. You mentioned that you didn't find Hungarian S+T, but there are several ones, here is the best one: kzread.info/dash/bejne/omaWs7pmfc2-j7g.html . But! As I see, you didn't need it. You even managed to translate the "Olyan lelket mozdító" part to "The kind that moves the soul", which is a really accurate translation, but for example me, as a Hungarian, never managed to translate that part correctly. But now I know how to say that part in English, haha, so thanks and well done! :D Also it was interesting to see some old Finno-Ugric words to be highlightened, maybe there aren't exactly the same, but they are quite similar to each other. :) Good luck for your studies, you are really skilled in learning languages and I bet you will be able to speak fluently the Hungarian language soon. ;)
even as a brother language, they are very different. That is why i love hungarian
