So it’s either total control or total control. Man, they really outdid themselves this time around. I always found the Faith purpose path to be less morally conflicting (at least far later in the tree than with Order), so it’s good that they balanced it.

@@davidmartinez688 Not sure you know what fascist means. The engineer route is oppressive and tyrannical no doubt. I think that the argument can be made that the game is fascist from the very beginning and with all choices, even with good outcomes, no extreme laws, and so on. Consider the following: You, as director, make decisions unilaterally. There is no governmental oversight, or at least we are led to believe that the corporation you work for has ownership of the colony, so there is at least locally, in that colony, a merger of the corporate interest with the state interest(the state proxy being your decrees I suppose). The rights of the citizens are abrogated at your sole discretion for the greater good of the colony(or perhaps just for arbitrary company deadlines). Regarding what options are the most humane: Workers control sans the brutal murder options (terror and show of force) is more humane than the penal colony for sure. Factory inspectorate if you go no further than the security tower is the most humane probably since the safety increases at all the workplaces save lives, and there is nothing more onerous than a few managers at that point.

@@davidmartinez688 Two different paths that lead to the same atrocities if taken to the extreme. One, the workers, lies to you into thinking that that is the best route to take to the extreme.

@@Deadman6 This guy gets it. The game literally said during the end that "I've manipulate to give it( sacrifice ).

I find it morbidly curious and hilarious the IEC logo is used in the Engineer path. Means they threw it on for branding sake, the IEC enders our choices, or God forbid its a normal practice in the company Hell, the actual panopticon building has the logo under the main eye...

According to the Lore of both the latest DLC and The Last Autumn itself during the later stages Penal labour was consistently used to get the generator towers up quickly and as fast as possible before the frost came, so while the panopticon probably wasn't standard practice penal labour definitely was, and likely not as cruel as you could be in The Last Autumn otherwise that'd mean the generators' construction have a similar body count as the main game.

I didnt now I could feed the people dead prisoners, I insted closed the prisons and let the criminals frozes to dead outsided, I expected them to just escape, 90 prisoners died.
