Hey, I'm the one who voiced Karim! (The Scientist, who funnily enough, is named and modeled after the creator of the map) It's an honor to see you enjoying the map! I just hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed doing the voice lines! Fun Fact #1: There was a cut line in the map where I talked about French Fries, but it didn't make the cut. Fun Fact #2: The flying Santa was going to have a smooth turning radius, but it got broken somehow.

@@ngeruma No worries at all! I certainly had a great Christmas! And as for the line about fries... Karim (The person, not the character) is Belgian, and sometimes he jokes with me about the fact that French Fries are actually Belgian. Initially, he was gonna be the voice of the player, and so sometime during the second test, he proposed that we add this dialogue: Scientist: ...You're Belgian, aren't you? Player: Yes, why do you ask? Scientist: The funny thing is that we say "French Fries" when it should be "Belgian Fries" because they're the ones who managed to invent them in the first place! Player: You're throwing me off, Karim. Scientist: Yeah, your right, carry on! However, once we found a different voice actor (Who is French), this joke didn't work quite as well. Not to mention, with the scientist outside watching you on the catwalks in that section, it didn't really make sense for him to be on the intercom anyway. With that said, I hope you'll have a great new year!!!

Murphy (who i now know is Karim) recommended this map about a week before christmas, it looked perfect for the xmas day video :D Both their maps so far have been really cool, please feel free to recommend any others of theirs too :D And as always, thank you for watching and i hope you had a great christmas!

Even the player starts speaking on christmas day. Festive theme in aperture is lovely! Especially the fizzlers haha. That santa claus lmao. 20:07 is extremely weird. Like the tube just gave up on you lol. Thanks for the christmas gift ngeruma! Wishing you a happy christmas :)

Given the fact that the cubes change between Portal 1 and 2. I believe GLaDOS altered the design to be heavier. Just so it would seam Chell had put on weight.

I think you can find full versions of the audio book here on youtube, if you don't have audible. Not sure how long the videos stay up, given the whole copyright thing and all. Of course, there are also the actual books, if you are down for an arm workout(they are thick). The first book is called "The Name of the Wind" and the second is "The Wise Man's Fear". Together they are about 65ish hours of listening time. At the end, you'll A)wish that 65ish hours wasn't over yet and B)wish the third book would finally frickin' come out!!

A very *_chill_* experience!

oh it's she's an actual radio host in the US? not some made up thing from a show or something? when i heard it i though it must be a refference to a christmas film or something, although her voice did remind me of the last time i was in america and there was this insane bowl cut blond woman who seemed to be on tv on like her own news channel spouting hell fire and brimstone bigotry

Why didn’t they cover the tree with little cores and real turrets
