Good video bus. Your spot on. Have a customer that thinks he knows better than someone with28+years experience so I'll be going back to do out the wat he likes then put him and his house in the rear view

Getting ready to install some heat cable on my roof (note that I am doing it in September, not December - your point about not installing in winter is well-taken). It sounds like this Frost King product is either on or off, not self-regulating. Is that right? Also, did you notice a change in your electric bill when you have it plugged in full-time? Thanks for posting the helpful video.

Question; if you see this. How far down the gutter down spouts did you run the cable? All the way down and back up? or only down a foot or so? Just curious... Thanks in advance! I would think you only need enough to keep the drain open with a channel like you said with the cable that runs in the gutter; it doesn't need to run on the floor of the gutter, just in the gutter floating in the middle to provide a channel for water to flow to get to an open drain, right?

Hey man…. Thanks for watching the video. Yes, I only went down the drain about 3 feet and then back up and it has been fine so far.

@@thesavageoutback Thanks for getting back with me! Great video and good information. I would think 3' would be more than enough to allow gravity to do its job.
