front shocks replacement royal alloy GP 180.Used a Lazada one first, ordered another one from shopee
I had the Lazada shocks installed in the previous episode. in this episode, my order from shopee arrived yesterday and with another lazy afternoon, decided to see if it fits. it's a 275mm RCB A2 series dual shock with adjustable spring preload. just wanted to find out if there would be clearance issues as the spring diameter is a lot bigger than stock. did a few tweaks and used liquid detergent, with some tools and a bit of time. installed and clearance is same as the stock ones. still going to adjust the preload as I find it somewhat softer than the stock ones. just want to try and dial it a bit softer than stock. tools used 17mm open, 18 mm open, set of torx and my cheap find tool I found on a Japanese surplus store.
scoot now is at 20,002.3 kilometers. turning 2 years of ownership on Feb of 2023.

Update on the shock replacement, you can actually change it now and it wont affect your warranty as per the dealers. The seat height is a bit on the tall side pero manageable naman. You can change it if its a seat height issue, so its a seat height issue when you change it😂😂😂
