Quote of the day: "I like things just on the cusp of looking like, maybe, 'nobody lives here'." As much as I admire a formal garden, I am always drawn to natural looking, pollinator friendly gardens...so much more interesting and inspiring.

I laughed out loud when Erin said that! Her style really is so much like my style... if only I had more energy, my garden would look better. But even so, I love its wildness, and I love tall plants leaning over each other like drunks at the race track. I have ONE dahlia that I planted late in my CT garden... it is now a race against time to see if it blooms before frost. I also have my fingers crossed that my heavenly blue morning glory will bloom before frost as well.

Someone explained my garden as different than her other friend's. I replied as in landscaped? Yes, but your is more interesting. Haha
I absolutely love that you plant everything in the landscape and not in rows, that is totally my style. I also love those happy accidents when things pop up from self-seeding from previous years. Thanks for sharing your garden, it is simply charming. 💜
You are so close to 100k. You need someone to do a shoutout to push you over. I live in Indianapolis. My dahlias didn’t do well at all. I don’t think I will grow them again. But yours are beautiful, as is your whole garden.
Love all your videos. You have such a wonderful, natural property. Also, love your style of showing your garden. No judgement, just a relaxed acceptance of how everything is doing. Helps me be more acceptance of my own garden. Thank you!
Erin, this tour is the best I've seen your garden in September. With this year being so difficult for many, I'm wondering if you feel the same about how spectacular it looks now.
This isn’t even in the same universe of “nobody lives here.” The plant choice and care shine throughout. The thing that sets your garden apart is the use of unique plants, a lovely horticultural aspect and beautiful mixes. Anyone can plant 1000 proven winners varieties, but the whole can be somehow less than the sum of its parts. Your garden is a botanical dream by contrast. Master gardener’s garden. 💕❤️💕

I agree. I pretty much gave up on garden tours b/c you see the same plants again and again, garden after garden... that, and it also became a game of "how much taste do you have in picking out a garden designer," as opposed to seeing gardens that the homeowners dreamed up themselves.
Watching again. We enjoyed this so much a year ago!
Just my type of garden!!! Jungle, full of colour and interest. Love the layout and a plus- your outlook, is a grove of beautiful trees and grass. Mine is a main road with houses opposite and a lot of traffic. Your garden is so serene country-like- , a fabulous package.
Your garden is the most beautiful on youtube, hands down in my opinion. Never stop putting up videos please.
My garden can go feral this time of year with zero poops given lol. I am tired, it's tired....we all tired.
In other words you like the” Crazy Plant Lady” Look ... LoL! Yep, Me Also!
I love how you can handle the "free form" situation when plants reseed and you can move plants.
Erin, love seeing your beautiful garden. I just started planting dahlias last summer and they are so addictive. I added 6 new varieties this year and I've ordered 5 more for next year. My space is limited so I am trying to be practical but I could definitely go overboard!
You should cast those banana leaves to make stepping stones 😍
This was a beautiful tour. I watched it twice to make sure I absorbed as much as I could. Loved the "like nobody lives here" comment! My Grandmother's garden looked like that and I loved hers too. As a small child, I could find little hiding places in her bushes and flowers. It was great! Thanks so much for the tour. Your garden is so pretty.
Hello from Sweden Gothenburg, but so very beautiful.. i liked your silver unbrella tree, it grows fast.. we have very cold from december - march. If it survives a longer cold period... we can have frost until the month of May. My zone is 3.
I so enjoyed watch this on a cold dreary day.
Everything looks rainy-season-esque 😜
Love the tour, Erin, and the aerial views you’ve added are awesome! A wildly lush garden this time of the year is simply the best! Keep enjoyin’ those dahlias for another month and a half! 🤞Cheers!
I think that’s why I love, love your garden so much is the wild aspect of it. Along with beautiful array color choices the way it flows. The conifers, dahlias, hydrangeas and so much more mixed together is so cool! I think orderly gardens are nice but definitely not for me either. Maybe that’s being a country girl just love for natural wildlife. And I made my gardens wild for a privacy issue from neighbors, lol. I’d have to watch your tour last season, I almost think this year is even prettier if that’s even possible. I always get amazing inspiration from your tours. Thank you for doing the hard work getting these videos out to us. So much appreciated it Erin. Take care. 😘💕🌻
That was magnificent! Thank you Erin! Truth be told this video popped up yesterday and I thought “No, I need to set aside 40 minutes so I can truly enjoy it”. Well done!
Your garden is always awesome. Love those dahlias.
I love your wild garden!! It’s like a little surprise in every nook. I like gardens that look whimsical soooooo pretty❤️🌺🌸
Your garden is so lush and healthy! Your Dahlias look great and flowering very well. The numbers of plants and the variety of plants is amazing. Love it! 💕
Your garden is beautiful and I particularly liked your sense of humour ❤
Great and timely tour. "Timely" in that it seems like we have seen less of you this summer. Perhaps it is just my imagination. Anyway, always great to admire your incredible knowledge and flower-naming memory.
I wish I could like this video more than once

Wow!!! Beautiful selection!!!!
wow fancy did we just get a aerial view 🤗
I enjoyed this so much! Your dahlias looked marvelous, and I hope they're doing fine this year too. I really related to your great variety in plantings and the wildness. My late Mother had a huge garden with rose standards on one end, but her favorite was her wild cottage garden, as she called it. Thanks for the memories and inspiration!
😊❤Thanks so much for the tour your yard is beautiful.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL garden. Such interesting plants (not only the dahlias) as well as great combos of colors and textures. I marvel at your dedication with dahlias and other tender plants. I'm so spoiled. I grew up in Wisconsin, but have lived in California for the last 45 years. I cannot imagine making the effort of having to dig up plants to keep them from freezing in the winter, labeling them, storing them, then having to plant them again the following spring only to repeat the whole process a few months later. You are truly amazing! Thank you for sharing your garden. It's a delight!
First time watching one of your videos, FUN and inspiring, a bit wildish, lots of nice textures and pairings! 🥰
tat boom boom yellow looks more yellow scepter to me. Crichton honey is my dream dahlia :)

Erin!! nice drone shots! and the dahlias are spectacular...
You inspired me to go out to weed and deadhead in the dahlia garden. Thanks
Are you kidding me? Referring to your garden as wild? I much prefer the comingling of BEAUTY, which your gardens exemplify! BEAUTIFUL!!! Neat and Orderly is NOT NATURAL IN NATURE. I am not a dahlia fan, but because of YOU, I purchased several tubers this year, planted late and only now am I seeing some flower buds. Planted in the ground and in planters so I will see IF I like them after all. I LOVE the Nicholas dahlia, it is perfection, flower structure and size. GREAT IDEA, to plant ornamental corn!!
Everything wild and beautiful Erin!! Just the way I dream of a garden to be!!
So many pretty things to see and you are almost at 100K subs!🌸
I love it all!!!!
Love the aerial shots!!
I think your Boom-Boom Yellow could be Golden Sceptor.
Love your garden
Thomas Edison is my favorite as a purple lover and a dahlia lover ❤
I grow Nicholas; one of my favs. And, Gabrielle Marie - love her.
Beautiful garden!
Beautiful Erin 🌸💕🌸
Loved it. The garden looks beautiful 🤩
At a time when gardens are looking a little overgrown and tired, your slightly wild gardens are still gorgeous. I’ve been a “tidy” gardener and am working to fill in the gaps and create a really full look around my home landscape and leaving the clean look for my production rows. Thank you for your continued inspiration!
Remarkable variety! Love your dahlias! So much fun to see something make an unexpected appearance.
Magnificent dahlias!
Gorgeous! ✨❤️
Exquisite variety! ❤

The garden looks great
Everything looks beautiful as usual!
beautiful !
Learned so much about so many plants! Thank you Erin!
A beautiful Fall garden.
Such a beautiful property! Thanks for showing it off.
Beautiful
Those dahlias are gorgeous!!! I just don’t have room for rows of cut flowers, so I love the you have your dahlias interspersed in your beds. I also am not a formal garden person. I love to tour formal gardens, but they are a ton of work. More power to those who want to grow their garden that way. Loved the video!
Lovely tour/update segment! 🌺
So pretty!! I just love your gardens! Thank you!
Loved the tour.
was eagerly waiting for your Dahlia tour
Just today I was thinking about the tour of your dahlias this year. Yayyy
The urn is gorgeous. I like it!
I was going to give up on my Dahlias after the brutally hot weather in France but after just one rainfall they came right back to life and now I'm just going to make sure their roots are more covered by ground cover or other perennials to keep them cool. Your Garden looks phenomenal I like that you mix so many colors.
Absolutely stunning. Most gorgeous garden ever. Thanks for sharing.
Your garden is so charming. Thanks for sharing.
