Remove axle nut then Remove the bolts on the shock that connect to the spindle, remove the abs/speed sensor, be careful with the brake line and pull the hub towards you. The axle should now have enough room to come out. No need to mess with the ball joints. Saves a lot of time especially if you live in an area with lots of rust.
Great “how not to” video. This will get very expensive when you break the abs wire and sensor, brake hose, axle seals. But very entertaining. The thick accent helps with the cred factor
Excellent video and I really think it will help a lot next week when I replace my front CV axles on a 2006 Hyundai Elantra.
If you remove track rod end the strut will swing out easy and more movement

You have to keep hitting with a sledgehammer and put penetrating lubricant. Use a prybar and some muscle. I didn't use that tool he used. But I hit it for a good minute.
