If all of our vets held some form of office, this country would be a better place by a longshot. Practicality doesn't get you votes, platitudes do. So glad this man made it happen. We need more people like him.

Not all vets are good people. Being in the military doesn't automatically make you a good person. It's a hard pill for many to swallow.

I don't know him, but his story matches and surrounding details of junction city and the personnel matches with my own knowledge on the situation. Summer 2007 was heating up especially in the Ramadi region, lots of special operators in the Tikrit/Ramadi region.

What made me want to be Navy SEAL one day was from watching that buds class video in 2014 maybe. Ever since then I couldn't stop thinking about it. I still would want to try to be one today but with all this stuff I've done wrong lately, it'll just make it even harder I think. Well like I would have to clear all that first then join. Instead of just joining right away. That's what made me go back to get my diploma in the first place was so I could join.

I like that guy even though he talks really fast . Imagine that a fast talking politician, I guess what I like about him is he is a solid guy who is well read and real smart, the problem is with the seals is thier stories are classified so you are not able to reveal the truth about how he got the medal of honor. So sticking to the story is a nonfactor. I wish him well and have hopes he stays the course and does not get bored with the inability of congress to make things happen. Thank you for your service

Bruh, I have been in for 16 years, 4 months in the regular Navy. I can't remember anyone in boot camp but my lead RDC, and my boot camp number, but I can tell you everything else. It is a boring story but probably more exciting than most. I have pictures too. I can't wait to retire. 1 more duty station after this one.

Charles Ferer negative, he’s not a soldier. The Army has soldiers, Air Force has airmen, Navy has sailors, and the Marine Corp has marines.

It's cool hearing that our soldiers are given the authority to move around the battlefield and improvise missions. You have to trust those who work for you and delegate authority. Reinforce success.

I hope Mr. Taylor will run for President someday. Does anyone know if he's considering doing that? I've researched a bit and don't see anything about that yet. He'd make such a good one, in my opinion. Regardless, I appreciate the way he's already served our Country. God Bless him and his family.

My friend win navy man of the year in 2005. He was e medic in 100 of the toughest battles in Iraq. Victor urena . He lost his vision for two weeks after taking a ied in a humvee
