60 Minutes, the most successful American television broadcast in history, began its 52nd season in September. Offering hard-hitting investigative reports, interviews, feature segments and profiles of people in the news, the broadcast began in 1968 is still a hit in 2020. 60 Minutes makes Nielsen’s weekly Top 10 nearly every week and was the #1 weekly television broadcast three times last season.
The program still averages more than 10 million viewers, more than double the audience of its nearest network news magazine competitor. The average audience for a 60 Minutes broadcast is 150% higher than those of the network morning news programs; the audience dwarfs the number of viewers drawn by the most popular cable news programs.
About a million more people listen to the 60 Minutes radio simulcast in several major cities and on its companion podcast. Tens of thousands each week experience 60 Minutes online. The broadcast’s segments can be watched at 60Minutes.com and on the CBS All Access app. Its webcast, 60MinutesOvertime.com, offers content originally produced for the web, including behind-the-scenes video about the production of 60 Minutes stories and timely archival segments.
60 Minutes has won every major broadcast award. Its 25 Peabody and 150 Emmy awards are the most won by any single news program. It has also won 20 duPont-Columbia University journalism awards. Other distinguished journalism honors won multiple times include the George Polk, RTDNA Edward R. Murrow, Investigative Reporters and Editors, RFK Journalism, Sigma Delta Chi and Gerald Loeb awards.
60 Minutes premiered on CBS September 24, 1968. Bill Owens is the program’s executive producer. The correspondents and contributors of 60 Minutes are Sharyn Alfonsi, Anderson Cooper, John Dickerson, Norah O’Donnell, Scott Pelley, Lesley Stahl, Bill Whitaker and L. Jon Wertheim.

do you know when a group of people in western countries keep inventing some kind of kindergarten story, without any reason or scientific status, manipulate a large number of people! that's called msm propoganda! the russian president, the russian foreign minister have already stated several times that he is a traitor to the nation, a blogger who deliberately incites against his own country, against his own people, is in my opinion a spy, a puppet of western kindergartners! It has been known for a long time that the western countries act consciously and without any ethical or moral point of view in a very self-centered and hostile manner towards other countries!

I am addressing American sitizens: when your politics tell you that contemporary Russia is a military threat to the USA or NATO, be sceptical about it, since number of Russian top rank gov.officials and oligarcs have their children and family members living in States or NATO countries and hold sitizenships. They hold their assets and real estate in your countries, they link their long-term life stategies to Western world. Here's a practical example: daughter of Russian head of MFA Mr.Lavrov is an American sitizen who permanently lives in the US. And there's number of other similar examples (research if you want). All the agressive and anti-American rethorics voiced by the Russian politics is a hypocrisy and low quality propoganda for poor and uneducated. Conteporary Putin's Russia is extremely corrupted country, where gov.officials ripping the state budget and oppresing and murdering people who rise their voice by corrupted lawenforcers and rigged courts.

Germany claims that Novichok was found in Navalny's blood, in his urine and on his skin, and in a bottle he had with him when he boarded the plane in Tomsk... Now, if there really had been a poisoning, the only person or people who could have done it are a trusted cohort following the orders of Navalny's western sponsors (Putin-hating Soros and criminal Mikhail Borisovich Khodorkovsky) in view of Navalny's constant and persistent failures over the years at destabilizing Putin and the Kremlin, and who may well have thought that Navalny would serve their agenda better if he dies and becomes a "martyr" than if he stays alive and well. That is if indeed there was any Novichock anywhere on Navalny, in Navalny and in that bottle, which I seriously doubt since in view of the treatment he received at the hospital in Omsk, he would have died there had he been poisoned with Novichok. Note that Navalny drank some tea during an unscheduled and unplanned stop at a coffee shop in the airport in Tomsk - there again, only someone in his entourage could have put poison in his tea, if he actually was poisoned. I mean, think about it. First, they poison him with the deadliest chemical weapon in the world, then they do their best to save his life and finally send him to Germany so that the Germans could establish that he was poisoned with the deadliest chemical weapon in the world. No one else was affected, including his assistants and entourage, and there were no protective suits around, not even on the Russian doctors who treated him. The whole thing beggars belief! The truth about "Putin's Palace" claims by Navalny! It is a luxury hotel still under construction, and the photos of the interior in Navalny's video are photos taken in various different palaces around Europe! There are exposés on KZread showing that the Palace Navalny claims is Putin's is mostly a Photoshop concoction, but the prototype Palace/Hotel is under construction and possibly belongs to one of the Russian oligarchs. mobile.twitter.com/ValLisitsa/status/1355135339795505163 threadreaderapp.com/thread/1355135339795505163.html smotrim.ru/article/2516987 smotrim.ru/article/2517125 kzread.info/dash/bejne/nWZmma2ve6m_fps.html&ab_channel=RT kzread.info/dash/bejne/aIiVqZmjf8-4naw.html&ab_channel=RTAmerica

Zdrasvutye! Was that during sovetsky vremya, or the 90s when Russia was struggling to adapt to the Capitalist system, and there were all sorts of shortages, and massive price gouging on the goods that were available? Because it sounds like it could be either, but since you didn't mention the price gouging I'm thinking you must mean soviet times. However, as an American who was only a year old when the USSR collapsed, and has only learned about life in the Soviet Union, and Post-Soviet Russia from my ex girlfriend, and her parents I don't really know all that much.

@@peterkaloev418 Germany claims that Novichok was found in Navalny's blood, in his urine and on his skin, and in a bottle he had with him when he boarded the plane in Tomsk...
