A classic Porsche restored to such a high level that there are only a handful of professional shops in the world that could meet that standard, much less surpass it. It's to the same level - maybe better - than a Porsche Classic Factory Restoration. Unbelievably well done and to think it was largely accomplished in a home garage is simply amazing. Congratulations.

I started following this restoration almost from the 1st video - and I can't tell you how much I admire your work ethic. You say it felt like a 911 straight out of the showroom - but I think this is a better-than-new restoration.. I doubt there's a better one out there. I like your number plate! Looking forward to more videos when you have the time. Bravo Mike!!

This has been very interesting and instructive. Thank you Mike. The best test of any restoration is really "would I buy the car?". In this case I would do. In the case of many YT restorers / hot rodders, the answer is not so emphatic. Good luck sorting out the final gremlins.

Congratulations Mike, been watching since the early days of your project. I've owned and lightly restored 4 air cooled 911s of various years and rebuilt three of those engines myself and rather enjoyed watching your process and methodical approach. No details left by the wayside on anything you do. Bravo! Seeing your project drive really makes me miss my first one, my 1970 911T.

Hello Billy That is a great question Actually doing a project like this makes absolutely no sense financially or investment in time. It’s really something we do as a satisfaction and appreciation for the mark or particular vehicle. It takes a deep passion for things to go to these limits. For me the investment of time and money is now finally realized. A person would have to do some deep long thinking before traveling this road. Cheers!
