I do? Oh, wait - I DO! 😁 This is what I had to do on the hilltop in MO in order to grow carrots. Pick axe to loosen the gravel, shovel to lift it out .. There was a lot more rock there, though.

That's exactly what worm farming is! That's the work of it! People like feeding the worms, but when it comes to physical separation. They say what the heck is this, you were more fun feeding you.. And Drop out. I used my tip share to buy you a gift, forthcoming!

Daffodils are excellent deterrents to deer, rabbits, and other plant predators that would feed on day lilies.

@@Green.Country.Agroforestry As I understand it, daffodils are deadly poison for deer and rabbits, so I think it would also deter voles and gophers.

Red bud? Hmmm, I was just trying to figure out what had popped up in our flower bed and now I know. lol I was going to pull it up. Now I think I will transplant it somewhere with more space.

You might have done better to put all that on a large tarp to mix it. It would have helped with not wasting what you otherwise couldn’t have scraped off the ground.
