Gorgeous Buckwheat! I am adding more asparagus, too. Just don't have enough growing, and it will work great in the nematode area.

Sounds great! The pink stuff is said to not produce as much seed as the normal, white flowering buckwheat .. Those are the best examples I have seen of them in 3 years of trying to grow them .. but the plain white buckwheat pops up just fine!

Storm damaged trees from this spring - they will need to season for at least a year before using for firewood. There is plenty of fuel that falls every year, so long as you gather it a year ahead of when you will need it!

Next non-gardening chore: build a wood shed. Make it cheap, 'cause not all the folks watching are made of money .. I got this! I'm going to go big, too. No reason not to ..

We have a spot where the dayflower, pink Buckwheat, and peanuts are all blooming - basil right next to them is about to start, too .. so there will be 4 different colors of flowers popping at the same time in the same space. It would look lovely, but there just isn't time to show all of that off .. Now I have to build a shed to put all of that wood in ..
