Thank you for sharing your rendition of this beautiful song. As a birth mom, I can totally relate. My daughter will be 21 in December this year, and she's doing well. She has always known of her adoption and that I am her birthmother. We have a great relationship. She and her family are very dear to me, as well as to my mother and my siblings. I am so proud of the woman she has become.

Brought tears to my eyes. I missed my twins so much for years, but realized it was special to see them twice a year as they were growing up, and so many photos shared, too. Now they will be 32 this June, and while I can follow on Facebook, I am not part of their lives as both live in South America, and I cannot visit that far. We birth moms are special, but not the moms to raise our kids, and sometimes that still is so hard, especially since my first grandson was born last Oct 15. I will see him briefly when his mom comes to visit her (adopted)mom Linda, and I can go see them in Eugene on March 22nd. There are special times when it's tough to not be the mom they turn to.

This describes what I want my daughter's AP's to tell my daughter when she asks about me to the t. I miss my baby girl so much.
