Edgwear Road by LD and K-Trap

UK Drill and NY drill sound similar. Pop smoke worked with a British producer called 808 Melo. He produced Welcome to the party, Dior, the Woo and some other big songs, which blew the ‘sound’ up. If Pop Smoke was alive, he would have bridged the gap even more than he did. It sucks we lost him so early. I really think he was special.

LD really put the foundations down for the UK drill scene. Really talks about what hes done hence all the charges and prison sscentnces. he is in a group called 67 that controlled the uk drill scene back in 2015-2017 and made Drill classics like Waps, redrum, lets lirk check em out. this is why He's considered the Godfather of drill.

LD is like the Chief Keef of UK drill without the likes of him and the rest of 67 and his opps 150 UK and NY drill would not be where it is today and that’s a fact!! He’s considered to be the godfather of drill, unfortunately the live he raps about has got in the way of his career something that is seemingly more common over here than in America, partly due to the powers the police have over here seems to have more of a grip over drill artists than in the states.

LD released the second ever UK drill diss track titled “it’s frying” which was in response to Stickz (150) who made “it’s cracking” both hard tracks and really show the progression of UK drill from 2013 up to modern day. Highly suggest you check them out in order.

He used to be called scribz but he got banned from rapping because of what he raps about so he changed to LD and wears a mask

I know you don’t really mess with drill too much but with the right guidance you’ll see there’s a hell of a lot of fire uk drill artists. I beg you check out RV X Headie one - behind bars. Headie is a unique drill artist and now considered one of the goats.

LD and 67 been around since 2011-12. First in the uk to bring drill mainstream, long time before pop smoke. Also, I noticed a lot of Americans hear a reference to someone else in a song and are immediately thinking it's a diss even if the reference wasn't disrespectful. Trust me you will know diss when you hear one in UK drill. Most references are just references and usually are out of respect. LD has a song with Dizzee
