Most of the slang cench is using is native to London only (and some major cities around it). The slang comes from the London dialect known as MLE (multicultural london english) which comes from heavy immigrant influence, from countries in the Caribbean, west Africa, Middle East etc, and is mixed in with cockney English. That's why there's words from Jamaican patois (wagwan, mandem, bare) , pidgin englishs in West Africa (nyash) and arabic (akh, dunya) as well as words like gaff (cockney English). But there's tons of MLE originals like leng, butters, peak, rambo, zks, clapped, wap, long, dead, wet, tapped etc. "Jawn" most likely comes from Phillly AAVE tho Also "wap" (gun/firearm) has been around way before the song lol, don't get it twisted

Brudda you’ve actually got the subtitles there and are still getting things wrong.. I can’t 😭 London is the melting pot of many ethnicities/ cultures E.g Caribbean’s, Africans, Asians etc.. many of the up and coming generations are also first/ second generation to these countries (including myself being a first generation British to Jamaican parents) because of the massive multi-cultural environment, a lot of our colloquials and slang are heavily influenced by these countries + there’s also typical English slang/ cockney.. Some of the slang is completely original from UK’s newer generations, others have takes from the different languages/ dialects spoken around us. - Wagwan is a Jamaican word, there are many Jamaicans in London/ Birmingham/ Manchester etc so of course the word gets passed around, it’s embedded in our slang now. - Mandem is also a Jamaican word and Boydem is a remix of this but instead it’s used to describe police. - Gaff is cockney slang for ‘house’ - Nyash is a Nigerian word. - Akh is an Arab word for brother - Haram is also an Arabic word meaning forbidden - Machines = Guns, not mobile phone like technology machines - He said Nanks not Nak. - In the UK we don’t have Escalades, he’s not saying that Mercedes vans is a UKslang word for it - By yaad food, he means food from Yard - Jamaica - Jamaican food, in Jamaica we call Jamaica Yaad as in home. So he’s saying he wants Jamaican food. - We don’t say W.a.p in the UK in the way you guys in America mean it, and mandem have been saying waps way before that Megan and Cardi song came out, so you guys think that it’s mad to say it but it’s really not. To sum it up, UK slang beautifully represents the many cultures we are surrounded by & Central Cee bridging this gap is actually bringing awareness to how diverse it really is here (in the main cities anyway). It’s a great idea 🔥

Dontai you had all the words on point... its the delivery that made it sound weird lol. Also over here in London we are heavily influenced by Caribbean and Nigerian culture, so words like Wagwan and Nyash is what we use. Also 'Leng' is more for what you'd refer to someone as if they're attractive, so "She's leng" is like "She's cute" not "bro look at that leng" But you did alright aha, just the delivery needs to be more calm.
