How did China become a world leader in Hybrid EVs? and how far have we come in terms of features? Today I’m in Chongqing, a modern megacity on the forefront of hybrid vehicle technology, and I’ve been invited by one of China’s biggest electric car brands Lynk & Co to learn about how we got here and get an inside look into some of the latest hybrid models on the market. I also get an opportunity to test drive their flagship model: the 09 EM-P, then go for a joyride and check out Chongqing!

Mate, you really have to check out the Chang'an Shenlan G318 while in Chongqing. It's got a bit of off-road capability. You can opt to install a tent on its roof for camping. Factory spec flood lights are also available. Very interesting vehicle.
