From Almaluu Yurt Camp to Seven Springs of Manjaly Ata - Kyrgyzstan 4K Travel Channel
In the early morning, we leave the Almaluu Yurt Camp. Once again we admire the fantastic panorama of the Tian Shan and say goodbye to the animals in the camp. We drive along the south shore of Issyk-Kul in eastern direction. But after only a few kilometers, we stop again.
We have arrived at the seven springs of Manjaly-Ata. It is a sacred place for Muslims.
After a gate and some houses, a path runs through the hills behind. About small byways, you can reach three of these springs. There are holes in the earth where the water accumulates. Allegedly, the water cures various diseases, from eye diseases to diarrhea.
The most famous source is for couples for couples desiring to have children. You also find a mosque and a gazebo to enjoy the view.
We drive on and see a large cemetery on the left side of the street. We doubt whether this benefits the water quality of the groundwater. Although there is a cup at each source, we dare not drink the water. But in the evening I have diarrhea and vomiting. Perhaps, I should have drunk from the springs!
When we reach the road along the Issyk-Kul again, we have to pass a seemingly endless column of tank trucks. These are tank trucks that bring fuel once a week to a nearby gold mine.

Am frühen Morgen verlassen wir das Almaluu Yurt Camp. Noch einmal bewundern wir das fantastische Panorama des Tian Shan und verabschieden uns natürlich auch von den Tieren im Camp.
Wir fahren an der Südküste des Yssykköl entlang Richtung Osten. Doch bereits nach wenigen Kilometern legen wir wieder eine Halt ein.
Wir sind bei den Sieben Quellen von Manjaly-Ata angekommen. Es ist ein heiliger Ort für Muslime.
Nach einem Eingangstor und einigen Häusern zieht sich ein Pfad durch die dahinter liegenden Hügel. Über kleine Nebenwege erreicht man drei dieser Quellen. Es sind Erdlöcher in denen sich Wasser sammelt. Angeblich heilt das Wasser verschieden Krankheiten, von Augenleiden bis zu Durchfallerkrankungen.
Die berühmteste Quelle ist für Paare, die sich Kinder wünschen. Es gibt hier auch eine Moschee und einen Pavillon um die Aussicht zu genießen.
Beim Weiterfahren sehen wir an der linken Straßenseite einen großen Friedhof. Ob der für die Wasserqualität des Grundwassers von Vorteil ist bezweifeln wir. Obwohl bei jeder Quelle ein Becher steht, wagen wir nicht das Wasser zu trinken. Am Abend habe ich aber dennoch Durchfall und Erbrechen. Vielleicht hätte ich doch trinken sollen!
Als wir wieder die Straße entlang des Yssykköl erreichen sind wir gezwungen eine schier endlos lange Kolonne von Tankfahrzeugen zu überholen. Es sind Tanklaster, die einmal wöchentlich Treibstoff zu einer nahegelegenen Goldmine bringen.
