Very courageous women may Allah bless her! Your mothers pronunciation of Arabic is awesome. She converted at the time when big personalities were about such as Mohammad Ali etc.

She has a really wise husband. Asked her to not rush into conversion, take a step back and do it only when committed and convinced. Alhamdulillah they are married for 36 yrs!

I was born Muslim, I am Muslim and practice my religion. when I hear stories about reverts I find myself crying. how much we take for granted. I have listened to hundreds of reverts talk about their experience in coming to Islam and I do so because they all inspire me. I do have to say, however, that this sister's way of speaking is hands down the most articulate and compelling that I have had the privilege of listening to. She is so soft spoken and gentle. Allah swt has truly blessed her. May Allah swt continue to bless her and her family. Ameen.

The comparativeness is clear from his life and the hadits are an eye opener. If one cannot see that but falsely claim of being peaceful and love then as she said do not see the negativity which in fact is the force that will be playing in these years and until Essa returns.

It’s a matter of time when this beautiful and sincere person bumps into the verses she hasn’t as yet and then begins to question. The marketing Dawah department is always great in showcasing the sugarcoated stuff.

Beautiful and restful voice ... :) Thank you very much for the recommended books. I also found them online as pdfs so I will read them carefully to understand Islam.

God is Love and merciful. Hatred comes from the mouth and heart of false prophets like never before. Simply compare Muslim preachers whom I have even heard and we know what they are infusing in to the minds hatred and compare with preachers of other religions specially Christians the difference is like black and white and heaven and hell.

I have heard both and they are the worst of preachers. Hatred emitting from their mouths and heart. The lady is soft spoken as someone here said and that’s bcoz of the Christian upbringing. Love. I know what you will say well god is one and this is the only thing they throw at others. Well only pagans believed that there are more that one God like the preislamic pagans who used to worship the stone and the three daughters as the Quran said. Well god is one was one and will always be one.

This dear sister's spirit is beautiful. The sincere way that she sought her faith is a bold and rare thing to do in this society. I love the way that she retold her journey into Islam, and how non- judgemental she was (even of people who disagreed with her choice to revert). I am not Muslim, but I hold my sisters in Islam in such high regard because of their strength, beauty, and faith. May Yah bless her.

Her Christian upbringing is what she is and she has admitted even at the end. Ibn ‘Umar may Allaah be pleased with him narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: “O women! Give alms and seek forgiveness as much as you can, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hellfire were you (women).” An intelligent woman amongst them asked, “O Prophet of Allah! Why is it that we are the majority of the people of Hellfire?” He replied, “O women! You curse so frequently and you are ungrateful to your husbands.” [Muslim] The same Hadeeth was narrated by Abu Sa’eed Al-khudri may Allaah be pleased with him and reported by Al-Bukhari may Allaah have mercy upon him. The above will surely refer to muslim women as this is Islamic book.
