Matthew Perry has been on 2 or 3 shows that only lasted 1 year plus some very forgetful movies. Courtney Cox after one failed show seems to have found an audience with Cougar Town.

Not sure whatever happened to LeBlanc. Schwimmer is behind the camera now so he is under the radar. Jennifer seems to just coast along doing her movies even if they don't make a ton of money. And Phoebe is maybe the most talented but it is difficult to follow FRIENDS. Life goes on and they will have plenty of residuals to live off of.

@Mark DeFazio Matt LeBlanc came to admit that the Friends experience was emotionally and mentally exhausting. Having been worn down by all the pressure and anxiety coming from the huge public exposure caused by the show. Going into retirement for a while, before coming back and winning a 2012 Golden Globe for best comedic actor for his role in Episodes.

I love Friends and the cast but that decadence is so off putting

Perhaps during the show's run it might have been fabulous but *not* after the show came to an end, as the title erroneously implies. Referring to the fact that Courteney Cox got a divorce, Matthew Perry's life was still in shambles, due to a never-ending substance abuse problem, Matt Leblanc quit acting for years, since the level of fame and the invasion into his private life had worn him out, David Schwimmer went back behind the camera, as his typecasting on Friends made it almost impossible to get any new interesting roles and of course Jennifer Aniston and her well-known divorce with Brad Pitt and the subsequent heartbreak. Life in Hollywood is *not* as fabulous as it seems or is. As you can see in Friends, it takes a huge toll on your private life and working life. No better example than the actors of Friends what fame, publicity and objectification can do. Trying to pretend it was all wonderful, yet devastating at the same time. Wondering it's worth it, considering for example that Jennifer Aniston still has no husband, no home and children today, even though it seemed like a childhood dream to her in given interviews between 1994-1997 especially.
