If anyone heard that she would be spending some time with 3 men then they will automatically assume the worst and think that they are perverts trying to take advantage of her. Sometimes a guy can get weird looks for saying he likes to spend time with children even if he has no ill intentions at all and genuilly just appreciates their company.

They did this a few times in the series, and I don't know any other show that ever tried it, despite how hilarious the results were. In one scene, Monica confesses to Rachel that she's been shopping with Julie, but the dialogue is identical to if she were cheating, except "kissing" or "sleeping together" is changed to "shopping". In another, Phoebe's attempt at cutting Monica's hair has been a disaster, and while Monica's in her room, Phoebe updates the others using the stereotypical phrases doctors use when a character has been hospitalised. I'm sure there were others.

@@NewhamMatt oh there were many, many others. They did this I think once every two episodes. More examples are Joey and Chandler acting as spouses when they got a duck and a chick and joey and Ross "hooking up" When they took a nap together or when Chandler peed on Monica when they were on vacation to meet Phoebe's mother and how they told the group about it. Quite hilarious, but they overdid it

I felt bad for her the entire episode after Ross hit her by accident. I would have picked her to go to space camp because she deserves it. She didn't even get to sit in a real space shuttle like she wanted to. Me: 😘😥

But I have to say I wish this storyline happened instead in Season 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 because for me this is the end of the good of Season 3 since Mark comes in the next episode! Ross and Rachel would break up soon and have to wait until the end of the show for them to get back together!

They were so sweet but I would never let my daughter go into a complete stranger's apartment like that
