They kind of insinuated that Joey had a crush on Monica thru out the series - I felt like that was a nod to Joey and Monica having been the planned "It Couple" of the series rather than Ross and Rachel.

Then everyone in their right mind must have serious trust issues. And even if we can say that she can have a problem with that in a general perspective, she has no right to have a problem with something like this when she went to lunch with a guy she was once so madly in love with and hid it from her boyfriend and got mad when he was upset about it.

It is basically : Monica never thought chandler has her lover. He is basically the keep up guy who you settle bcoz you can't be with your lover . It's sad coz all his relationship he never had one love where someone loved him more than how much he loved them. It's sad but there are so many chandlers out there who all think they are ross or even Joey . .. It's a drama true but it's just how you could see reality so easily and directly.
