He was always loyal to Chandler ...1. When he got C that hortible bracelet, 2. When he was gonna step back and let C have Kathy before he knew C was interested in K, , 3. When he tried to have a fun day with Janice, etc. He was loyal to Ross, like when he spent the night with R the time R was drunk in front of Charlie. He was always loyal to Rachel..as when he was there for R when she was having false labor, etc. He was loyal, albeit unsuccessful at this time, to Monica when she was bitten by the jellyfish. He was a generally all round good guy.

As a non American, growing up in the 90s as a Friends fan, I just realized that many of the funniest moments happened - when someone just enters the door (there's no lock). Phoebe walking in here, Ross walking in with Joey & Rachel were doing it, Ross walking in again when Rachel & Bruce Willis were making out, Janice walking in when she did it with Ross, Chandler walking in when Rachel had taken a shower and showed her "nipular area"..... many other scenes. As a non Amercian, do New Yorkers not lock their doors?

In Manhattan the kind of Friends apartment (middle class is the right thing to say?) are always without lock... Just neighbors pretend they aren't. However in another kind of buildings there's a lot of locks, as the fancy ones... Or the ones that are in a dangerous neighborhood.

Those days were nice when you could wait for a weekend or holiday, rent a movie video and watch. There was some excitement. They changed really fast.

Matt Le Blanc once said that he and Lisa Kudrow has been rallying to the producers to get Joey and Phoebe together on the set, like for them both to have secret casual sex behind their friends back. But the producers didn’t agree so that’s why Joey stayed single and Phoebe was with Mike. Glad the producers disagree. I like them better as friends.
