Nous devons vraiment changer. Cela est allé trop loin. We moeten echt veranderen.
THIS IS THE BEST CLIMATE CHANGE PRESENTATION THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!
We will use this at our school for our advisory's lesson on climate change for Earth Day. Thanks!
That's one of the most amazing videos I've seen in a while 😳 Finally someone who talks about a serious problem in a simple language, so even children at the age of 14 would understand the most of it. Huge respect!

@@henrikkniberg Welcome to worldwide bankruptcy. "Investing in green energy" will cause much more damage to our environment and "More people reducing energy consumption" will cause a cascade of major bankruptcies around the world. These ideas are very good, but they won't work while we live by this idiotic "kill" directive: "Profit=income-expenses". Everything that we get i.e., our profit, comes to us from the environment. Doesn't it strike anybody else as being odd that the dictionary definition of 'profit doesn't, directly, mention the word 'environment'?
Awesome! As a high school science teacher, climate activist and carbon tax advocate, I will use this video a lot. I love your all-inclusive, contribute what you can contribute approach. You also very gently touch on a lot of the hot button political issues in a way that diffuses the challenges. Wonderful job!

Then I'll be down to speak with the Superintendent and school board about your politics in the classroom. But if you'll teach science instead of politics, you won't have a problem. For instance, what is the correct amount of CO2 needed in the atmosphere?

Don't worry Dylan. You've been brought up on this type of political activism to promote control and profits for the few. CO2 is not pollution, it is nutrition. The Industrial Age may have saved life on planet earth by stopping the loss of CO2 which was dangerously low back in 1880. Check it out. Ask questions. Don't accept being spoon fed politics instead of science. I am old and so have seen many waves of the next great political activism in my life. This is the current one and you will see it ebb and be replaced by another one. Meanwhile, your life will go on. This will turn out alright.

@@irchristo actually increasing the CO2 levels does not increase the growth rate of plants. At the best maybe one or 2%. But what CO2 is really doing is a strapping so much heat it's trapping roughly 17 x 10 to the 20th Jewels heat energy that when it's reabsorbed in the world's oceans that heat energy is equivalent of 5 Hiroshima atomic bombs per second if you look on the website show your stripes. Info you will see that every year every warming bar is getting darker and redder that indicates a rapid increasing rate of temperature change

Brilliant video! Great selection of information, pacing, mood, everything. A couple of small points. Your graph shows CO2 exceeding the historic range in 1950, but it passed the 300 ppm threshold in 1910 (search "Global Mean CO2 Mixing Ratios (ppm): Observations"). Good to mention lamb as well as beef (at least for Australian viewers). And when you mention CCS you could add that we'll need it to bring atmospheric CO2 back to safe levels, because (important point) cutting emissions to zero is just the first step.

Thanks, great feedback! Probably won't update the video (waaay too time consuming), but I'll create some kind of addendum/corrections. Will definitely add these points there.
Outstanding climate change presentation i have found!
Truly a great presentation Constructive and optimistic For the sake of survival, the mind of humanity needs to be educated on the reality of this matter and the heart of humanity needs to become passionate to make a change The stubborn machine of industry must be stopped in its tracks and be held accountable. That can only be achieved if everyone gets involved
Fantastic video! Thank you!
Awesome video, however I think you missed out on the key thing suggested by IPCC: Nuclear power. Especially Gen IV. Solar, wind and other are not zero emission, when you do a life cycle analysis. Then Nuclear is better than any and nuclear has also lowest number of deaths per produced kilowatt. Gen IV can consume waste from current nuclear power plants and are being built in many countries and the fastest way to reduce CO2 emission. Germany who are going the opposite direction and just focusing on "renewable" are actually producing much more CO2 than before also the costs and risking them to fall back on coal.

@@HickW David is pointing out Gen IV. You re-use the old nuclear waste in that system and this means that Sweden can run all power we need for over 100years without having to get any new uranium and only use the shit we got stored as waste right now. This is why IPCC says it's the best option, at least in Sweden.

When the real deluge of weather, flooding, major fires, and continental shifting sets in, nuclear power will be at the mercy of all of these problems. Nuclear disasters, plurel, will be the worst part of the problem. 💔💔

Admirations for the ability to acquire knowledge and distribute it in an contagiously inspiring way.
