    I find Friedman amps hard to match with a drive/gain pedal, but that Duellist works really well with that JJ.

    I’ve had positive results with my Friedman’s amp in combination with effects. I mainly use the drives for color-Friedman’s can do without them, but if used in moderation, it becomes superb.
