I like to clean and organize my fridge before I go shopping. This helps me not only use foods before they go bad, but it also helps me create a grocery list that includes the foods we have on hand in my meal plan. I hope this video gives you the motivation to clean out your fridge as well.

    I enjoy watching your food prep as well. I would be curious to see a “what I eat in a day” video. I have a busy schedule, and I would really like to cut out processed foods from my diet, and as much from my family’s as I can so I’m looking for basic whole food recipes I could prepare and ways to incorporate this diet into my hectic lifestyle.

  • @KewBlinkla

    @@B.Robinson19 it only takes a few hours once a week. I know that sounds like a lot but start small!!! Maybe first you prep some snacks, then you try to do breakfast, then proteins…. Etc. It’s so amazing to be able to go “oh no! I’m so busy today, it’s 4:30, everyone’s hungry……” and pull out a turkey Shepards pie from 2 months ago and have a healthy meal ready. Or open your freezer to see you prepared chicken the day you brought it home by boiling it and shredding… chop a tomato and lettuce or make a cabbage slaw (good the jngteidwnfs in the dressing - you have them!), throw it on a piece of bread with some frozen veg and fruit and you have a really healthy meal quick. You got this! Frim one mom to another! Start small and keep trying. Keep a list of things that work so when you’re grocery shopping and making your list and feel lost or brain dead you can just throw some favs in and know you’re set. My last tip: if you make ANYTHING. That can be frozen (especially preassembled) MAKE DIUBLE! Soup, pasta bakes, lasagne, enchiladas, curry, all meats, etc make double and you’ll thank yourself later. Wether it’s that week or in a few months

    Question. Have you ever made a large container of your protein powder mixture? I'm wondering if I could do that and just know to take 1 cup or 1/2 a cup (whatever the serving size is). I wasn't sure if the powders behave or not.

  • @27foxplace

    @27foxplace

    That's a good question...I would worry that it wouldn't mix together evenly. 🧐 I think the heavier ingredients would tend to rise to the top. Plus, I'm not sure how long the mix would last, so I only prep enough for a week or two. But it would last longer in the fridge.
