He brings out so much food in waves, they learned that they don't have to fight for it, they all eat their fill. Hotdogs, Grapes, Cookies and dog food as "Nutritional filler". They eating good...

Yes. Feeding wild animals daily, you end up recognizing them. The little details, habits, personalities. What at first appears as a sea of same, eventually superfocuses into individuals. It is lovely. And boy, do they know him! 🐾

Yes, you can feel the difference already! I'm so thrilled for Jim that he's recovering quickly. I think the raccoons must be medicine too--to look at them & see the impact of his work, how healthy the little rascals are, how well set up for winter--that must remind him he's doing the right thing & that it's important work.

Dear James, Thank you for your wonderful videos. As a child I lived in a farming area in northernOhio. I clearly remember my mother taking me to a neighbors home to feed a fox that came to her back door like your raccoons do. Another family friend fed the raccoons too. We just took care of every living thing because it was all part of the web of life. No one talks about the importance of every living thing in our ecosystem. You are wonderful, your critters are wonderful and we thank you for the joy you bring every day! God bless❣️

He talked about it in past video saying the views he gets pays the around 2 grand a month food budget. He explains to for years he has far lower number of Raccoons only recently has it grown so much.

DNR should thank him for what he does. Give him the obligatory lecture on raccoon diseases and then tell him to keep up the good work.

I just fed my raccoons tonight some of them live in my shed and under the shed... they come around at the same time every night come to my door stand up on their hind legs and looking like little puppy dogs... sliced up apples that's their favorite anything sweet and then they get dry cat food with a big bowl of water... They certainly are not as many as you have but the few that come our precious to me at least I know I'm not the only one in the world doing this thank you for being a partner for our raccoons

Whenever I need to soothe my weary soul I come to this freezing cold porch, with James and his raccoons...and it warms my heart!

James has no idea how much he lifted my spirit this week. My older brother had a stroke on Monday and he's in the hospital, so I'm so distraught. Watching the fur babies and listening to James talk is so comforting 💙

That was some Friday night crowd! Samy sure trusts you. Turns his back to everything and knows you will protect him. I love the beautiful relationship you have with these precious furbabies.

I feed a family of raccoons. Fed mama while she was nursing and the greatest reward was when mama trusted me with her babies. Thank you for loving these misunderstood animals. They’re amazing. Simply amazing

Sammy has to be my spirit animal. He's a raccoon right after my own heart. Can't tell you how many cookies I left behind creme-less like he did when I was a kid.
