I think I found some extra meaning in Rewrite saying "this cliche never dies." He's already self aware and has some access to your mind, so perhaps he knows he's one of millions of Sonic creepypasta characters. We also see this earlier in the song, since (to my belief) he's taking the forms of Sonic.exe, Majin, and Lord X, three iconic creepypasta Sonics. Perhaps he's trying to use that knowledge to his advantage, giving the player more of what they want (Songs against Sonic.exe and other iconic creepypasta Sonics) so he can invade their mind easier.

They Actually Rendered The 3D Animation As PNGs

What makes this so interesting is that you're given so little to go off of for this EXE. He just sees it all as a game. No violence needed. Just straight to the point until you can never go back. Sort of like No More Innocence. He imitates as a way to "help" the game reach its conclusion. And the models and song itself are both reminiscent and nostalgic at the same time. Sonic CD inspiration with other stuff thrown in.... It's genuinely off-putting for something so small and simple. No complicated gimmicks or extra fluff to pad it out. Just...him...

This character has become one of my favorite EXEs in a matter of hours. To be honest... 3D Characters look even more creepier than 2D Characters. That's why I think that the Sonic Creepypasta Characters in 3D look more disturbing than in pixel art or just "drawn". You can actually see the difference on 6:31 and where he appears in 3D 4:11. But the most creepy part is where he approaches you and the camera is in a kind of first-person angle 5:14.

4:11 Everything from here up until Rewrite laughs is honestly pretty chill. Ironic how the song becomes more relaxing right when the villain appears.

Even though it just looks like Sonic, when you learn more about it sure gives you the shivers. Really love this update. Trinity is especially a huge favorite for me.

This is the only Fnf mod that has EVER given me chills down my spine, a uncomfortable unpleasant feeling making me not want to sleep. Somehow, the fact it's quite pixelated in a 3d way makes it more disturbing. And the idea of having something talk to THE PLAYER. And also breaking the 4th wall just frightens me. @@chaoticoofhead9543 yes and no. In the song you can see him glitching between majin and exe so it’s not perfect like a lot of the other exes shape shifting abilities. He can take on their forms but he can’t TRULY be them. Think of it like a clone basically but with flaws.

So it's been really long since I listen Vocaloid Song but recognizing the Voice of (I think his name is) Rewritten, after all these years is still interesting, especially that it's not a popular Character as Miku. The Voice is of the Vocaloid of Utatane Piko. Which is very, very interesting that someone would use his voice.

Let's just say, this mod is more scarier than the other mods

I like that X shifts his foot in the idle like Sonic does in Advance. They need to make more fnf songs with Lyrics.

Theory time, what if the red rings have something to do with Rewrite building up his power?? He has three in the section where he's facing the player - one around each glove/limb except his right leg - supposedly from absorbing xeno, majin and lord X. In the game over screen, boyfriend/the player turns into a red ring.. maybe that's why he says "You're the one I'm looking for", because gaining that last red ring will allow him to use his powers to their full extent. At the end he also uses 5 voices; the trinity, boyfriend's, and his own 🤔 Three rings managed to let him break free from his fixed spot, so perhaps four would mean Rewrite could break out of the bounds of the game altogether Edit: messed up a name oops

Man this mod looks pretty creepy and interesting, Rewrite’s creepy voice, unique 3D models and even lyrics are really good also Trinity song is a banger.

Dam the " I AM GOD AND YOUR NOBODY" really hit me like my soul was leaving my body

Fun Fact: during the part where it goes first person and rewrite gets lyrics, rewrite's idle are the baphoment hand symbols, I forget what it means, I just remember what it looks like due to a game theory vid.

I really love the feel of this mod! It has what I feel like a sonic.exe mod should be like! And the general things in it like the 3d module having that old classic charm, or the music being the best outright.

I like Rewrite, he’s quickly became one of my favorite exe’s. He’s very self aware that he’s in a game and this part “boyfriend is not the one i’m looking for, through the screen I can see more” is cool and creepy that he addresses the player and not BF. Plus it’s implied that (to me) he defeated Sonic.exe, Majin, and Lord X and takes the forms of them to trick BF (the player). Also I should mentioned this line “from a fate you won’t escape, when you die we meet again” is very true no matter how many times you die you always see him again. A few things I want to mention is the wings in rewrite plus with him saying “I am god” means he’s some form of demon or god of some kind. Another is the sprites they look so good, it’s a mix of both sonic blast and sonic’s schoolhouse. Along with the end bit of trinity reminds me of the sprites from sonic 1 on the master system or game gear for some reason.

Rewrite is probably my favorite creepy sonic in terms of design. There’s nothing inherently scary about him, he just makes me unsettled with the eyes, his smile, and how lanky his limbs are compared to his body.

I like how they brought back the stairways and the jacks. Very classic charting. Hats off to the charter.

I like how they made this exe character more unique by making him aware of our world instead of his. It makes it more scary

This is definitely a god tier mod. The mod has pixel 3D models which would take very long to create and Rewrites voice can get extremely high pitched but Rewrites lyrics are maybe the best part for first song. Also the mechanics are mostly the same maybe other then a few tweaks. Great mod in all honesty!

I love everything about this! The artsyle, the lyrics, and even the references to other fandoms! (I hear you, disbelief papyrus!)

Dude I can't find this part I remember hearing it somewhere in this but I can't remember where

I came here from Luigikids video on this mod. This video is purely just the mod, at the perfect volume, and no whacky over the top shenanigans while playing the mod. I love Luigikid don’t get me wrong, he covers a lot of really well made fanmade .Exe games but his play through of the mod was a little difficult to watch due to his style of recording.

The reason I love this mod so much is because it actually has lyrics for once

can we take a moment to realise how smooth the animations are
