Confrontation and deadly obsession are tied for my favorites. Sonic's poses are really funny to me considering the context. He's fighting someone who's killed several people a few of which were his close friends and he doesn't look livid or anything, just somber and tired.

I feel like at this point, Sonic's gone straight from the anger phase of being betrayed to sadness. Like he's still trying to reason with Tails, trying to find any sliver of the Tails that WAS his best friend... but there's none, just a screaming match between two who used to be so close.

fun fact! it's been confirmed that him seeing knuckles in confrontation is a hallucination/flashback brought on by severe stress.

Well the bomb is still going boom. BF is just making sure what happened to knuckles in the animation where this tails made their debut doesn’t happen to them.

I’ve been listening to the OSTs so much on repeat!! I honestly like the higher pitch of Tails’ voice better as it sounded more on the top of lunacy :D

Secret history Tails has a really sad concept to me. The only reason he's there is so he can be Sonic's best friend, it's literally his only purpose. Everytime Sonic got close to anyone else, Tails felt like his only purpose in life was being taken away from him and he was essentially useless. And since Sonic literally told him to his face that he won't be friends with a monster, Tails is finding a replacement for him so he won't feel useless again.

Well for this mod, it ain't just based on Sonic, it's actually based on a series of videos made by a channel named Mashed called Secret Histories, which goes over the things that we don't see behind the scenes. Some examples just from the trailer alone include Tails (obviously), Mario, and Mega Man. Aside from that, I think they're also going to include Waluigi from Mashed's Smash vs Waluigi rap video as a freeplay song.

I love the fact they keeped the trend that bf has infinite mics lol the fact that they even have the fact of the mic's about to blow up it's interesting

I love the detail of the sections with the exact same notes on both sides in Confrontation! It really sounds like they've gotten into a total argument turned screaming match, and there's no salvaging any kind of friendship from this.

I'll be completely honest, confrontation is my favorite song .

I remember finding the original song _Best Friends_ back in its early stages when it only had Tails Doll's vocals as a placeholder, and it rocked back then. It's really cool to see how the mod has grown from that point. My favorite from this demo (can't help but wonder what the full version will bring!) are probably _Red Flag,_ _Deadly Obsession,_ and _Dark Secrets;_ they absolutely rock, and I'm looking forward to seeing remixes of it come around.

After hearing this song with tails dolls voice so many times, it feels weird with his own voice now. Nice

finally tails' voice isn't just a slightly edited tails doll it's probably still tails doll but heavily edited (similar to 1.0 lord x using tricky samples)

Knuckles there was a Stress induced hallucination. That makes it more confusing.

In Deadly Obsession that Flying Battery melody at 7:43 is FIRE 🔥 and Confrontation goes hard as well. Also I preferred the first Best Friends with the Tails Doll vocals the song still goes hard with the new one. (Overall though the music in this mod and the mod overall is just amazing. I'm excited to see it when it's fully completed.)

I remember seeing that animation when I was little, I still have nightmares about that parody XD, I'm glad there is a mod on this parody

I freaking love this! The Sprites are so fluid! And the Songs are freaking bangers from start to finish :D I'd argue Boyfriend's Vocals are a bit too quiet, But I'm sure that's only an issue here in the Demo xD Can't wait for the full release of this! It's already good enough as is with all the amazing things packed into it, But I can tell it can get even better :D Edit: It's actually not so much Boyfriend is too quiet, It's just that Tails voice is SUPER loud lmao, So yeah my bad xD

Maybe the vocals for tails would have been better if it were sampled from the voicelines, it would have most likely fit way better since, well, it’s the actual voice. Kinda like jacaris and super fleetway. He makes a damn good fleetway and he samples his own voice. If it’s already sampled, I’d assume it’s a problem with too many filters to try to replace tails doll’s vocals instead of it being its own thing. Aside from that I’ve been waiting for this mod for a while, glad to see all that effort is being shown in such a dazzling way

I'm so excited for this mod. This demo is FYE feels like a whole mod already! The sprites, songs and cutscenes are really cool. But one thing I do miss is the tails doll vocals, they would be even more banging imo.

Those left notes in the beginning of "Dark Secrets" should not have registered as being pressed, at least to me. It feels like you missed 2 of them, but you have 99 accuracy pretty much, and 0 misses. Not even a record scratch of "bad"...Feels weird. Idk, maybe this mod registers all that stuff differently, but it still feels weird. Edit: Feels like a good portion of those notes should've been marked as missed... Like the parts before BF sounds like he inhaled a whole bunch of helium.
