I remember when people made fun of the corruption mod because a lot of the fanmade content was... lacklustre. To the point that Ninja_Muffin himself joked about it once. But over time I'm glad people realised that the official corruption content (especially songs like Chiller, Roots and Deathmatch) was of actually good quality. And it's nice to finally have the mod itself be released in parts.

Quality will always surpass quantity. I don't care how many corruption mods there are, the most well built and stable, believable, and true to source mods always take center stage.

So it seems that Week 6 of Corruption finally has been released. And I gotta say, it looks fantastic! Especially the menu looks very good. I gotta say that Phantomfear and the people that help him with this mod are doing a incredible job.

Fun fact: if you re open the game after beating week 6, you get the option to get a soul bf desktop pet (shimeji), so we will probably get rewards for beating weeks

How long have we been waiting for this. We endured so much when the demo version will be released and finally waited. And the game menu is generally a bomb. But there is one big downside. You can't change "scroll up" to "scroll down" in the settings, which can cause players (like me) to have skill issues that can't play "scroll up". But be that as it may, the mod will still remain the best, with good remixes and songs and an interesting plot, which was only among all the Friday Night Funkin mods!

I wonder why the corruption mod does so well with the, "Turning the protag evil" gimmick? It usually turns out as trash with most games and shows. But turning BF evil was actually pretty cool and I don't know why.

i think it's because you see these events unfold on their own, while you quite literally "play" these scenes out, as the villian, while not being able to do anything about it.

I knew the community is very creative, but god the title screen was INSANE and I can’t wait for the other weeks

Time has passed since they released the corrupt version of week 6. But it makes me happy that they improved it in every way. I liked the new remixes that don't change too much, the death where Boyfriend is deleted from the game, everything. I love it. 🥰

Oh, great to see this. I love the corruption mod idea alot, and this demo looks sick! Love the original and added details, the pixelated corrupted Boyfriend looks quite fitting, and of course, the songs are the bangers it always was. I love the expressions used too, it's nostalgic to see a original FNF member back in action. Of course, in the Cloud mod, Senpai was featured too, but to see a whole mod of him is nostalgic to me. Well played too, Community Game! P.S.: My favourite song from Senpai's week was Roses.

There’s a couple of secrets in the mod, like how the week select changes songs depending on which week you pick, and a Shimeji if you reopen the game after it “crashes” and you allow bf access.

That theme of an armageddon, the terrifying art of the corrupted characters, the effects and sounds of a glitch, what I like the most is the change of scenery where he starts to corrupt himself, it's cream! It's like Pibby but the bad guy... is us... 😈

I thought the corruption mod was just going to be reskin and remix Legit now THIS is worth waiting two year for. Programming, storywriting, songwriting, and animating when put altogether is insanely time consuming, can never be done by one person in order to make a lengthy and worthy game. Respect to Phantom Fear for coming up with this. It all started with a little reskin idea after seeing winter horrorland….

when I saw senpai's week update, I thought it was boring because there was almost nothing, it was just new remixes, now I've changed my mind, the menu is AMAZING.

we've all been waiting for this, and it was worth the wait.

Roots is honestly the most banger song I've heard in a while it really drives the fighting with all ya got and at the end of the song you can see spirit's face change to his normal one as he finally sees he has lost. He gave it all he had.

It's so amazing to FINALLY see this come out, Even as a Demo. Great freaking job Phantom Fear! I'm really excited to see what happens next o/ The Art for this was freaking awesome! Title and everything~ And the Custom Death text was pretty cool as well not gonna lie. I wonder what he'll do for deaths in previous Weeks? I personally hope that they can't happen, "You can't die" Because up until Senpai/Spirit there wasn't anyone that could fight the Corruption, It was just an unstoppable force up until that point. But it got sent in to Hating Simulator and was basically just Data in Week 6. Meaning it "Could" be deleted as seen in the Demo. But I suppose maybe they could make a Death Animation where Boyfriend gets shot by Pico in Week 1, I think that ones acceptable. "Not Evil Boyfriend mind you, Just normal Boyfriend"

Ngl I love the way they made soul bf pixelated. 😃

I can't wait to try making a speedrun of this.
