Kaz, for clarifying the words of Jesus, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” If everyone was listening attentively to you and will do something to change for the better, surely, it would bear much fruit in abundance and advance in the practice of virtue in one’s life. Deep gratitude,love, humility and childlike confidence make us active to follow Jesus, our beloved saviour and Lord, whose invitation is our light and salvation for eternal life. His loving presence and our reception of Him in the Holy Eucharist purifies our heart and soul in communion with His divine life.

My last full term child , my 12th, Therese Dominique Delaplace was born still on October 5, the feast of St Faustina and the same year the twin towers were struck. In fact, when the towers were hit early that morning, i was in the gynecologist's office having my monthly pregnancy exam.The receptionist in the outer office screamed, frightening the doctor who hastily finished my exam, measuring the height of the fundus. She was listening to the radio as the interrupted broadcast about a potential "attack" was made. . OCTOBER 5 was a First Friday that year. Her Godfather is a priest, Dominic is his name. She is named after St Therese, The Little Flower, and was conditionally baptized at her birth on Saturday the 6th. I understand that alrhough she died in utero, baptism of desire by her parents is acceptable. Her burial Mass was sung in Latin, a traditional Tridentine High Mass of the Angels. Attended by many priests of the SSJohn and a visiting Bishop or Archbishop from South America. Mother sang. St Faustina and St Bruno share this feastday. Please pray for me. And for the conversion of my family. I pray for you.

Thank you for sharing such a personal story. we all remember where we were when the twin towers were attacked. When the world was just beginning to show signs of Christmas joy in 2001 I lost my mother on 12/20/2001. I can tell from reading your entry you’ve gotten through her still birth, but never over it. I offer condolences. in addition to Saint Faustina October 5 is also the feast today of Blessed Bartolo Longo. God bless you and thank you for sharing. May you be consoled and comforted.
