Fr. Mark, thank you for the most needed clarity on the Sacrament of Marriage in imitation to the beautiful union of love of the Holy Trinity. “ Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful! The Triune God is indeed a beautiful mystery.” Beautiful love you’re a mystery. When a man and woman desire to live in a beautiful communion of love, they must humbly gaze upon the love of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. What a beautiful life to live as couples when the union is blessed and patterned by the Holy Trinity, so pure, generous, faithful and loving. Desire for it and pray that it will come true.

I find that it is a good idea to contemplate the Triune God in the Trinity whenever I mention either the Father, the Son, Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit of Truth as they are in relation to each other with so much Love and togetherness, working together to pour out their Love and Graces into our Hearts each and every day. So, let us welcome and invite the Holy Spirit of Truth into our Hearts each day and in so doing, we are affirming our Love and Faith in the Blessed Holy Trinity.

Thank you for the beautiful and truthful homily Father Mark. I am a divorced Catholic and more than once I’ve been told that God wants me to be happy and I should date. I was told “nobody pays attention to that rule anymore.” My response? I knew the rules and God expects me to follow them. I will look up that book you recommended thank you for that It has been about 16 years and I can tell that my sons who were in their 20’s at the time still carry baggage. God bless you Father Mark.

The Catholic Church must take consideration ,and thank God for the tribunal, and annulment, but the reality is, I don’t believe in divorce simply because somebody changes their mind and wants to be with somebody else. I do believe in divorce if there’s abuse of any kind. A lot of people need to understand that when two people are standing up at the altar, in some cases, one person lies to the other in front of God and their family And that’s not fair

There ismuch in what you say. From what I have learned in order for any nullification to be valid, one of the parties must present evidence that he or she was not capable of committing to a Sacramental marriage.
